With a silent nod, X invited Eren into his apartment, offering the sanctuary of his home for the night. The arrangement was simple – Eren on the couch, X in his bed. The night unfolded, a delicate dance between restless dreams and fragmented sleep, until the sun, indifferent to their nocturnal struggles, heralded a new day.
With the dawn's arrival, Eren and X awoke, greeted not by the warmth of sunlight but by a note slid stealthily under X's door. As Eren unfolded the ominous message, his eyes widened with terror.
"If you try to come to my home again or try to come find me to kill me, I will hunt you down and slit your throat, don't tempt me!" -Other Eren
P.S, "I'm always watching!"
The words resonated with malevolence, a clear threat from the malevolent doppelgänger himself. A shiver raced down Eren's spine as the P.S. taunted them with the chilling reality of ceaseless observation.
Fear clawed at Eren's sanity, but X, a beacon of resilience, assured him that they could overcome this terror. "All we have to do is buy guns and ammo, and we can kill him," X proposed, his confidence unwavering. Yet, Eren, caught in the web of his own predicament, voiced the concern that plagued his thoughts – the risk of being seen in the streets.
Enter X's ingenious solution – he would venture out, unseen, and procure the weapons needed for their grim task. As X navigated the clandestine streets to gather their arsenal, Eren grappled with a plan, determined to end the reign of his malevolent doppelgänger.
Upon X's return, a bag laden with weapons, ammunition, and ski masks lay open before them. X, resolute and focused, declared, "We will leave at dark." As the city succumbed to the inky blackness, they ventured into the night, a duo bound by desperation and a shared resolve.
Their destination, the abandoned warehouse, seemed eerily different. The familiar clutter had vanished, replaced by an unsettling sight – two chairs with ominous ropes suspended above them. The air thickened with trepidation as they sensed the malevolent doppelgänger's perverse machinations.
As they turned to flee, the door slammed shut, trapping them inside the cavernous space. Panic set in, walls seemingly impervious to their attempts to break free. In the disquieting silence, a speaker crackled to life, heralding the malevolent doppelgänger's twisted presence.
"Hello, friends," his voice echoed, inflicting dread upon them. The floor parted, revealing the malevolent doppelgänger's ascension, a specter emerging from the abyss.
"You were foolish to come in," Eren asserted, defiance etched on his face.
The malevolent doppelgänger, unfazed, proclaimed his invincibility. "I cannot die," he declared, a chilling revelation that sent shivers down their spines.
X, determined to defy this proclamation, initiated a relentless barrage of gunfire. The malevolent doppelgänger fell, lifeless, only to rise again – a grotesque dance of death that defied all reason.
"You thought you could just come into my home and kill me twice!" the malevolent doppelgänger taunted, reveling in the macabre theatrics. The malevolent doppelgänger, now orchestrating a malevolent game, presented them with a sinister choice – a life for a life.
The chairs, imbued with a grim purpose, awaited the pressing of the up arrow – the ominous promise of an impending execution. The malevolent doppelgänger, intoxicated by their torment, reveled in the sadistic spectacle.
A voice, cutting through the oppressive silence, revealed an unexpected salvation – the FBI stormed in, apprehending the malevolent doppelgänger. Relief surged through Eren and X as they were freed from the malevolent machinations.
Eren, still grappling with the sudden turn of events, listened as X revealed his strategic brilliance – a visit to the police station, a tale of impending violence, and a carefully orchestrated intervention. The malevolent doppelgänger, now in custody, couldn't mask his defiance.
"I ALWAYS COME BACK!" his final scream reverberated, a haunting promise that lingered in the air. Eren, unsettled by the malevolent doppelgänger's parting words, knew that the nightmare was far from over.
