Norman and Otto have a happy life they had there company each other and there son Harry then everything changed when Norman uses the goblin serum on himself and the goblin was born. During the final battle with Spider-Man and the green goblin both Otto and Harry where there became the goblin kidnapped then as leverage so Norman would do what the goblin wanted but Norman was able to regain control long enough he told both harry and Otto that he loved them and pleased for them to forgive him for what he did and what he is about to do and before they could stop him Norman flew the glider into himself.
When Otto's reactor malfunction his sister Rosie was killed his aperture's take control Harry knows something is wrong with his Pops he tells Peter where Otto's lab is Peter tells Harry to stay home but he sneaks over hoping that he could bring his pops out. It did work he was able to get Otto to regain control he apologized for what he is about to do and tells him that he loves him before sending the reactor into the Hudson. It was hard for Harry to deal losing both of his parents but at lest he had his friends to keep him afloat.
