Happy belated birthday, Kim Rok Soo, Cale!!!!!

A lot of HCs, including but not limited to: Ohn being her father's daughter, Henituse's double standards (but in a good way), og!Cale being an unknowing BAMF, og!KRS being a scary BAMF, etc.

I feel like I'm just using the reacting excuse to expound on my HCs lmao

"Are you saying a bomb will go off here?"

"Yes."

Choi Han looked around at the fountains and the people in the plaza.

Everyone grimaces.

Alberu's face darkens visibly.

On one rare afternoon when Alberu managed to finish off his paperwork and Cale didn't have to traverse the world to prepare for a war only they knew of, they had sat down (read: slack off) to talk about everything and nothing at all.

Somehow, the conversation had turned into a small discussion on just why a secret organization like Arm needed to commit terrorism on such a public scale when anonymity had been serving it so well.

Because neither of them really wanted to understand the thought process of walking pieces of shit, it wasn't a serious discussion, more like a thought experiment to pass the time than anything.

In the end, they both agreed that the terrorist attack had been meant as a means to destabilize the Roan Kingdom before the war. Though Cale, with the carefully hidden hesitation that Alberu only learned how to spot months later, posited that it might have also been a way to divert Roan's attention to the bomber and away from what the rest of Arm was doing across the kingdom.

Case in point, Balbud, the Arm's middle-ranked operative Cale had captured all the way in the Ten Fingers Mountain Ridge.

Alberu can't say he isn't absolutely furious about it, of course.

There are many ways to destabilize a country before the eve of war, but Arm, that piece of shit, always has to choose the one with the most casualties, because those psychopaths have zero morality and even less ethics.

Alberu will be making sure they all pay severely for their audacity.

A cold voice filled his ear at that time.

"It could be buried somewhere or even installed on a person. Of course, that person will not know it is a bomb and think it is something else, like a bracelet or a purse and have it on them."

On a person. That phrase made Choi Han turn his head to look at Cale. Cale responded coldly to Choi Han.

"That is why we need to prevent it."

-

Bud lightly frowns.

"Hey," he calls out, "How the fuck did Arm get those disguised bombs onto citizens?"

The darkness underneath the bed seems to make for a surprising place for contemplation.

"Did they open a shop and sell bomb-disguised accessories? Did they sneak into their victims' houses and put the bombs into their bags? How the hell did Arm distribute the bombs?"
