Chapter 12

Cara

" of course, you can love!"
"Is every thing alright?"
"Ken? Are you ok? That's it, I'm picking you up!"
" ok then, I'll wait for you here, be careful in driving, bye"

It's Kendall, sounds like she got a problem. Her voice sounds like she's been crying.
I offered to picked her up but she said that it'll be faster if she just drive her way here.
I didn't argue because she sounded upset.

I'm waiting outside my house, my dad leave a couple of hours ago for his job.
I'm about to get my keys for my car to look for Kendall because it's been 1hr since she called
When I saw her car arrived in front of our house.
After she got out of the car, she came running towards me and hugged me tightly and cry.

"Hey, is that tears of joy? Huh, you missed me so much ken" i joked at her trying to calm her.

She tries to chuckles but still crying.

"No silly" she said

"Come on, let's get inside first" i smiled at her

She told me everything about her family. Her dad was an asshole but he's dead now.
She just can't accept the fact that her mother never told her about her sister.
Now we're in my bedroom and I'm convincing her to face them because I know how much she loves her mom.

"Ken you should forgive Kyla, you know that she loves you so much, maybe she just did that to protect you and your sister" I said to her patting her back,

"You're right, maybe I did overreact a little bit but what can I do Cara , I freaked out when I heard the whole story"
She said with sad eyes

"Just rest here for awhile, and think of it ken" i was about to moved out when she hold my hand

"Ok but stay with me Cara" she said

"Ok " i said to her ,lying on her side
I hugged her and kissed her forehead.

"Everything will be alright" I whispered to her.

KENDALL

"Cara?" I looked back and saw her sleeping figure, she looks so peaceful, maybe because it's still early.

I faced her, and stared at her . She look so beautiful even when sleeping. Her lips they look soft that I'm tempted to kiss her. I just shook my head and kiss her cheeks and whispers "thank you"

LUNCH TIME

I'm in front of our house with Cara, we used my car. I told her that I can go home by myself
But she insisted to drive me because she wants to make sure I'm home safely.
I knocked on our door.

The door swings open and my mom standing in front of us.

"KENDALL!" She hugged me, and she's crying

"I'm so sorry ken, i love you so much" she said

"Its ok mom, I understand now, I'm sorry for running away earlier" i said to her holding back my tears
" i love you too mom,

She noticed Cara leaning on my car,

"Ohh you're with Cara, let's go inside and eat" she said

I called Cara,

" thanks Cara for taking care of Kendall again " mom said to Cara while we're preparing the table,

"No worries Kyla" cara said with a reassuring smile.

Kylie, my sister walked in the kitchen awkwardly.

I came to her and hugged her.

"Thank you for looking for us baby sis!" I said to her

"It's ok, i really wanted to meet you since I've learned that I have a sister and mom" she said

"You're going to stay with us from now on right?" I asked her

She looked at my mom hesitantly, and nod.
Both of us squealed " yey" and hugged again

Cara cleared her throat,

"Oh kylie, i want you to meet Cara, she's my friend, more on like a bestfriend" i smiled

Cara offered her hand

" I'm kylie" my sister said

Cara didn't let go of her hand easily, and this time I'm the one to clear my throat.

" oh right" cara chuckled

We are now eating for lunch, the conversation was centered with Kylie because me and my mom wants to know what we missed for the passed years. Cara just listened to us and eat. But I'm shocked when she suddenly asked kylie.

"So kylie, do you have any boyfriend right now?" She smirked while looking at Kylie

I looked at her shocked.

"cara!" I said

"No it's ok ken" kylie said smiling, "no , we just broke up few wks ago"

"How about you ? Any boyfriend?" She asked Cara

I fell silent, i looked at my mom and she's hiding a smile,

"Girlfriend to be exact " Cara said.

"Girlfriend?!" Me and kylie exclaimed in unison

" why are you so shocked? I thought you know!" She turned to me , a little bit irritated

" i knew, but I don't know that you have a girlfriend right now" i said to her, im shocked and felt like I was stabbed in my chest

"No I don't have, my point is that i do girls not boys" she chuckled
I felt the knife being lifted from my chest.

"No need to be jealous kenny" she added

"I'm not jealous, why would I be" i said defensively

She just shrugged, i looked at my mom and kylie.
They just looked amused.

"That's new and awkward" they both agreed.

"Is it ok for you Kyla that you daughter is hanging out with me?" Cara turned to my mom.

"Of course dear,you're a better person than other straight people!" My mom said with a reassuring smile

"Of course, I am!" Cara said in a proud tone, and we all laughed.

After we eat, mom offered to clean up, and said that we 3 can hangout.
So here we are infront of the tv, I'm on the right side while kylie on left and of course Cara is in the middle.

" i feel so lucky right now" she said smirking

I elbowed her in the stomach.

" awww , someone is kinda possessive and selfish " she said

I just rolled my eyes and kylie giggled like she likes watching us teasing each other.

After our movie marathon, cara bid her goodbye to us, her driver picked her up.
Now I'm lying on my bed with kylie, i offered her to share with me even for tonight only, the guest room i still a little bit of messy.

Before I drifted to sleep, i heard her asked
" do you like Cara?" She asked

" yes of course, as a friend" i said to her

" no ken, i mean more than that?" She said again.

"What? No, I'm straight ky" i said to her again
" why?" I added

" you turned into a red tomato every time she teases you" she said smiling
" you look so cute together" she added

" oh hell no, I'm straight ky, she's just a friend" I smiled at her , it's like I've been stabbed every time I said it.
" there's no way we can be together like in a relationship " i added

"Ok , i just want to know, because if she asked me in the future , maybe I'll say yes to her" she said smiling
I looked at her shocked,

She just laughed, " I'm just kidding ken" she said

I felt my heart like it was stabbed again,
It was just a joke, but sometimes, jokes were half meant.

I can't imagine seeing Cara dating my sister!
It can't be.
