Chapter 1 The hound of the Baskervilles returns

It was very cold and rainy night. I was just settling down and going through my father's old cases. I have been interested and fascinated by my father's work. One case in particular has always held my interest.

The case of the hound of the Baskervilles. My father is the great Sherlock Holmes. My name is William Sherlock Holmes.

My father decided that it was time for me to take over his job as a detective. I got the file on the case of the hound of the Baskervilles.

I was reading it. When I heard a knock on my door. My friend and helper Benjamin Watson answered the door.

Sir Henry Baskerville comes into my office and says Mr Holmes I need your help. I asked him what could I help him with.

He tells me that he knows that my father had solved the case of the hound of the Baskervilles once before but the hound of the Baskervilles has come back.

I tell him that I know that he is the last of the Baskervilles. And I that I will help him and protect him. I am just going over my father's case file on the hound of the Baskervilles.

I tell Sir Henry to spend the night with me and my friend it would be safer for him.

We spent the whole time talking about my father and his case on the hound of the Baskervilles.

This is Sir Henry Baskerville the last of the Baskervilles.
