I hop out from the tree and nod to Mari.

"Okay. I'll make an opening for you. See you then."

I step out right behind the Yokinar Fexin.

Well, here goes.

I take a deep breath.

"Hey! Fur-for-brains!" I roar out loudly at it.

It lit up and turned my way.

I turned around with my tail raised and shook my rear at it.

"Catch me if you can! bleeeh." I stuck my tongue out while looking back at him.

As soon as I hear him roar out at me I run with all my might.

Thunderous footsteps follow behind as the fox chases me.

Okay.

First step complete.

Now let's test my theory.

It's fine if what I'm thinking is wrong, but I know for a fact it at least works this way.

I look back to see Yokinar Fexin still chasing as its mouth glows with light.

Okay, here we go.

It spews out a flame my direction.

I jump to the side to dodge it and chomp down on the fox's flame.

「Curse Eater」

I inhale deeply and pull my head to the side.

The flame breaks apart where my fangs touch and are pulled into my mouth.

The flame felt solid for a bit, although it still hurt putting my face in the flames themselves.

The flames licked at my fur as I inhaled the rest of the flames and shut my mouth.

Gulp.

「Curse Eater」has been activated.
Curse Absorption at 23%

Ouch.

Okay.

So the flames still hurt, but it seems like my thought was correct.

I can not only bite down onto the flames, but also  inhale them too.

Not to mention my status.
