I hate flowers.

Warning: Vent, hard to understand metaphors

I hate flowers.

Sure, they may be a part of what allows you to live, to breathe.

But they take nutrients from you when you're dead.

You can't live without them.

And when without, you surely will miss them.

You can't breathe as well.

And sure, there are trees, and algae.

But they're slowly leaving.

As much as I say I hate flowers, it's not true.

They're beautiful.

They're perfect.

They give you life.

And sure, they drain you, betray you when you're down under.

But you probably weren't getting back up anyways.

So, even if they might take all you've got when they have a chance, they still gave you life for a while.

Even if by being near them might be poison.

They're beautiful.

But to be honest, I don't deserve flowers.

So it's good that they left.

It's good that I'm alone.

Trees left me too.

I must not deserve them either.

But then again, did they have a choice?

Maybe not.

Maybe so.

But the ghost of their soul still lingers.

Algae is quite nice.

It gives you the most air.

And algae is always here.

Except for when it isn't.

But it tries it's best to.

Even if they seem to give more air to the one who hurt them.

Algae stayed.

I love algae.
