That feeling in your body,
Heart beating fast,
Sweating palms,
Anxiety just like in romantic movies,
Is all I yearn to feel.
A broken heart,
Shattered like a glass,
Falling to the floor,
In multiple pieces,
Is what I have had to endure.
All I yearn is to have that feeling,
I want to go to that place,
Where I am walking,
On a cloud of smiles,
Laughter and endless love,
For your partner.
I once thought,
I was experiencing,
Living that journey,
But darkness,
Sharp claws from
The dark side of life
Crept in and took away
That feeling and buried it,
6 feet deep,
Well? Who knows,
I might get the chance
to live through that
Journey again.
