She walks down the path
her hips moving side to side
like the waves as they move to the shore
Her hair braided with color
to strike the attention of the
far beyond gaze of a gentleman
Behind the beautiful elegant body
lies hurt, pain, arrogance and selflessness
who knows what else is in
her awesome, beautiful body
Selflessness is allowed
but not at the cost of someone's love
oh love you come in different ways
taking someone by surprise in different paths
Swallow the pride woman
let the wind blow to your direction
do not let what is in your mind
overtake your thinking
to make decisions that will forever
haunt your life

She tore my heart into a hundred pieces,
brought down my walls,
only to invite the enemies of deceit,
to come and take away the peace,
that had already settled within my heart,
oh mystery woman.
I was a prisoner in my own heart,
darkness filled the void that was left,
opening more wounds,
from the piercing words,
that punctured the air from my lungs,
not able to breathe,
the new fresh of breath of life,
awaiting me,
on the other end of the light,
oh mystery woman.
Finally as I stretched my hand,
to the little gleam of hope,
my heart built a new wall,
of happiness and adventure,
one I had never dreamed of,
oh mystery woman you had me on a leash,
but I am now free.
