"Yeah. After Ron came out of jail we worked together to find out the truth behind---" You paused, recalling the bloody trip incident.
"Behind?" Isshiki furrowed his brow in confusion, then was taken aback by the unexpected revelation. "Wait he was in jail?! But for what?!"
You mentally facepalmed when you realized you were about to reveal the truth. 'Why does my mouth never ask permission from my brain before opening itself? Is it okay for me to tell him? Nah, I'll let Ron decide whether to tell him or not.'
You looked at Isshiki with a straight face. "Don't pay attention to my words. My mouth is just going through rebellion phase cause it's tired of obeying my brain."
