Chapter 2(Let me go)

Jisoo let go of the hug first, why on earth did her reflexes made her do things like these,

she didn't dare to look him straight in the eyes ,the dorsal side of her dress already drenched .

She looked over her shoulders.
Unaware that most of the umbrella was covering her , and Taehyung's suit was already soaking from back.

Jisoo took in some deep breaths, her mind in a turmoil, it is not something that was suppose to occur right?

What was it about the certain homecoming??

Jisoo finally fisted her hand, breaking away from the awkwardness, she stepped back but just when she was about to run .

Taehyung held her wrist, jisoo was still looking down .

"Could you please not runaway from me"

Jisoo's brain creased with anger

"Did I really? As far as I remember weren't you the one who run away"

"I didn't mean to"

"Oh , yes I know you didn't mean to, but funny how you actually you did it"

These time around Taehyung touched jisoo's face lifting it up to make her look into his eyes.

"Can we please talk for real, please Jisoo, it's my request "

Jisoo face just stared at him , but she removed his hand looking sideways she slowly nodded her head.

What Jisoo knew was , now she was sitting inside a private room in a restaurant.

After he abruptly stood at front of her at the park Taehyung took her here even offered her , a dress to wear.

She had already changed her dress, it was still raining outside, the weather seems to be resonating with her inner ruining of peace.

Taehyung entered the room , he wore a green tshirt with some jet black trousers.

Jisoo refused to look at him because after all these years, she still had that erupting feeling in her, and seeing him after, how many years maybe she lost count....Hmm 12 years.

"Jisoo"

"Hmm"

"How've you been"

Was he being sarcastic now

"Never been better "

The corner of Jisoo's lips lifted up , she look at him trying to figure out the intricate thoughts going on inside his head

"I see that you still wear that bracelet"

Jisoo looked at her wrist, she answered

"Regardless of what happened latter, I still cherish what we had back then , i would be a hypocrite if I deny that"

Taehyung sighed

"We could still have what we had back then you know "

Jisoo looked perplexed for a moment but she fired back immediately

"How more irrational can you be , you are not a teenager, you are in your 30's,from where do you get this confidence of yours, that you still had the courage to speak such words after freaking twelve years Taehyung, you didn't hesitated when you had cut all ties with me, so just don't say words like that"

"Jisoo, can I explain myself just give me a chance , please "

"What had happen to you Taehyung, have you noticed you had been begging me since you met me , I wonder how your ego's been hurting"

"I had never hesitated to do anything when it came you jisoo"

"Yes you had indeed never hesitated, that's the reason you left me hanging "jisoo cried out

Jisoo continued

"You know what Taehyung, you had already decided the way of your life back then, and had supposedly never had included me, now that when you feel a little regretful you came, but that doesn't mean I am still there at the place you left me, i admit I cried days after days , I can't bring myself to belief the fact that you left me. Atlast I'm tired of waiting Taehyung, I had my own share of respect , I can't let all to be drained right"

Jisoo waited in silence for the next few seconds

Taehyung focused as he listened to her.

"I'll be turning 33 next year and its time I get married , so just to let you know I would had my engagement next month "

That was it, jisoo dropped the most anticipating bomb.

Taehyung stood up with a bang
"Bullshit Jisoo, do you really are getting engaged "

They stood in the thick air, the air conditioned room becoming suffocating as minutes passed by.

"Yes it's true,what did you expect for me to rot myself in the wait for you"

Taehyung stood up walking in front of jisoo cornering her

"But you did jisoo, and I came right "

"You were late Taehyung, I had already survived well without you, I don't think the rest of the life would be an issue to me"

Taehyung cupped her face , he looked into her eyes
His eyes glistened , jisoo became frigid, when was the last time she saw tears in his eyes.

"Jisoo do you love the guy , you are getting engaged to"

Jisoo broke the eye contact nodding slowly

Taehyung again pulled her face to face him

" Can you look me in the eyes and say that you do not love me anymore"
Jisoo confidently looked at him
"If you really want to know the truth Taehyung, then listen Taehyung i really do not love you anymore you cannot expect a person to love someone after not seeing them for so many years, maybe I still had the part in me that likes you, but Taehyung I know that the love I had for you had already faded, yes I know I don't love the boy I will marry, after seeing their hopeless daughter for years my parents decidd to arrange the marriage i didn't see anything wrong in that so I agreed, I met the guy the other day he's really decent and polite, someone I can think to spend my life with, but you know what Taehyung, i believe once I will spend time with him, i will for sure be able to love him, you had already played the part in my life Taehyung,and now I just want to learn onto someone and lead a peaceful life"

Taehyung's tears cascaded down his eyes, he held jisoo by the shoulder, jisoo didn't knew when her own eyes were shedding tears as well.

Taehyung spoke lastly

"So before.... You let me go Jisoo , could you just listen to what I have, i promise to never interrupt your peace in future "

Jisoo didn't had the heart to reject that.

Taehyung seeing her affirmative answer couldn't help but hug her, he was just drowning in his own issue,

jisoo is right he should had never expected her to wait for him, when she didn't even knew if he was alive or dead,

it was already worse when jisoo had wasted her first years in the sorrow of him,

now that she wanted to live in peace he should let her, after he finally empties the words he had been caging inside him for so long .

After the rain, Jisoo's shoulders were once again wet from his tears.
