The walk back to the dorms was long but worth it

All the lights made it less boring

Wednesday was extremely nervous

She obviously wouldn't show it but she was

Her palms were slightly sweaty and her internal voice asking if her actions were ok or weird

If you told her on the first day of school that she would be walking back from her first date with the girl who gave her school tour she would've probably managed to laugh

Yet here she was

Holding hands with the wolf

Walking back from said first date

Everything around them was closing

The snow started

Enid noticeably shivered

"Oh god Wednesday" her internal voice panicked "Should I hug her? No hugging isn't our thing. Should I take her inside? Everything's closed."

"Are you cold?" The goth asked softly

"Yeah but it's fine" Enid smiled

Without thinking she began to take off her black and white stripped sweater, handing it to her

"Oh thanks" the wolf girl swiftly put it on, trying not to mess up her hair

She slowly stopped shivering

To the goths surprise she didn't look bad

Black looked good on her

Everything seemed to be slowing down

Her attention was completely on the wolf

The way the lights made her glow

Her laugh

Her smile

Her jokes

Everything

God this was torture to Wednesday but she loved it

She craved it

She craved the feelings Enid gave her

"Thanks wedns" the girl then held her hand

The goth could feel her face getting hot

Wednesday couldn't talk to her anymore

She felt her words jumble in her throat

"Well this is me" Enid stood in front of her dorm

"Right" the goth managed to say

The door opened

Ajax came out

"Hey guys! How was the girls night?"

"It was really good. Wednesday was just saying goodbye. I'll see you in class"

She smiled

That nervous beautiful smile

"Ok see you" she walked away as fast as possible

"First date" was an overstatement

More like a girls night

Wednesday wanted it to be a real date so bad but that would never happen

She knew Enid didn't have the same feelings

Her heart belonged to that boy

More torture Enid caused

Maybe that's why she loved the wolf so much

All the pain felt good

That sweater did look really good on her

It made her feel like she was slightly hers

A small detail

It really changed her perspective when Enid would wear it out in public

Made her feelings more intense
