Enid hates the huge scar across her face. She does everything she can to cover it but it's no use

Enid always got up super early

She wanted to make sure she had enough time to do her makeup

Usually it didn't take long but now she had to pack on a bunch of foundation and concealer

"Stupid fucking scar" she mumbled to herself

Most days she would cry at the sight of it

She hated it

Hated how big it was

How it took up half her cheek

How it felt

All of it

Each time she thought she covered it up well, you could still see it

So she wiped it off and did it again

And again

And again

Well until she thought Wednesday was awake

She hated the thought of her girlfriend seeing her like this so she would just leave the dorm

Even if it wasn't covered enough

The wolf didn't care if anyone else saw it

They always told her how amazing and brave she was for fighting

The only time she was self conscious was when her girlfriend was around

It made her feel ugly around her

"Enid" the goth came up behind her

"Fuck- hey Wedns" Enid was startled, not missing the chance to give her a kiss

Anxiety took over her body

"Want to go sit in the library for lunch" the shorter girl walked in that direction

"Yeah sure" Enid held her hand

A few students scattered around the library

The couple picked a table and sat down

Nevermore had a different vibe since the fight

Everything seemed more calm

More depressing

More grey

Honestly Enid changed as well

She wouldn't eat or eat less

Her anxiety got worse

Wednesday hated it

She hated the fact Enid fought for her

"You're not hungry?" Wednesday looked up from her book

"Not really" the wolf just picked around her food

Not eating any

"You haven't eaten since yesterday morning" her voice was soft

"I know" she sighed, completely ditching the food

Nights were the worst

Enid couldn't sleep

Nightmares were constant

So most nights she would stay up with her girlfriend

Talking

Doing homework

Or just laying together

This was one of those nights

Enid slowly got ready for bed

The last thing she would do was take off her makeup and quickly turn off the lights

Super self conscious about the scar

She then made her way over to her girlfriends side

Getting into her dark bed sheets

Pulling her closely

Laying her head down close to her neck

Giving her small kisses

"Enid"

"Yes"

The room was quiet

"Enid, have you thought about going to therapy"

"I've already scheduled an appointment for next week"

"I'm sorry"

"Wedns" she held her face "You don't have to apologize, it's ok"

Wednesday didn't say anything

Enid gave her a quick hug before laying down closer to her

The goth then examined her face

She then caressed her cheek

Her thumb continuously rubbing over the scar

"I know you hate it. You cover it up so I won't see it"

Enid closed her eyes

"I'm sorry this happened but I like it"

"You do?" The wolf girl didn't open her eyes

"Yes, a lot"

"Really?" She opened her eyes and looked into her girlfriends "You don't have to make me feel better"

"I wouldn't say something I don't mean"

Enid softly smiled

Kissing her girlfriend on the nose

"I just think it makes me look ugly, I mean it takes up half of my face. But if you like it so do I" she hugged the goth close

"Willa I'm sorry for being a little disconnected you don't deserve it"

"I understand"

"You're always so good to me and I've just been a bitch"

"Enid it's ok"

"You sure?"

"Yes" she softly kissed the wolfs lips "Go to sleep"

"Goodnight"
