Captain Juniper Cookie's Vow

Patrol

I warily patrolled through the lower Choco Mud Town.
It feels wrong to not tell Custard Axolotl cookie immediately about this information.
He could be dead! Worse? What would worse be? How bad could worse be?

I snap out of thought, seeing a cookie on the docks, "It's not safe to be out alone, please return to your home."
The worry was probably too evident in my voice, let's just be honest.
The cookie nodded and waved back at me as they walked away, "Alright, good night Captain."

I watched as they walked off and to the upper city stairs, only taking my eyes off when I knew they were safe.

"Tell him.."

I mumbled under my breath and began to head home.
