Heather laid on her bed...squirming.

The freezing wind pursued by the light movement of her navy blue drapes. The redone wooden floors that now caressed the castle floors, and the repurposed throne room and overhead glass ceiling now sat filled with old brickle back and useless memorabilia.

Earlier in the day, Heather was depressed. As she woke up in her bed that morning the castle workers had informed her as she sat in her overly cluttered throne room that they hadn't found her sister yet, as she had demanded them to. It had been two months since that dream in that throne.

She had shifted the paintings she had been given to a bountiful buyer who was willing to provide coins out of pocket, although she was indeed rich, the sense of luxury was never really her thing.

Tonight, she was haunted. Haunted by constant memories of good times with her parents, but also, taunted by the bad memories that she regretted. She misses them dearly. But can no longer see them, and that fact alone is enough to drive her mind insane at times. The endless reminder of unbridled contempt that she had once had and the hatred for the friend that had betrayed her, now made her feel alone and broken, although a little less potent recently.

Heather shook, the combination of the cold air, and bad dreams made her feel the need to wake up, that night alone, she dreamt of her sister, her sister dying, her sister getting kidnapped, the castle and her kingdom going into exile from endless wars that currently excluded her kingdom, although the royal guards were always on alert.

She dreamt of things that could happen, that might happen, but never knowing what will happen and when it does...

She will forever be happy.
As this event will sharpen her like steel.
