"Y'all I'm going to sit at the bar" i said to the girls as I got up grabbing my purse

"Okay. I'll text you when were ready to leave" Marie said, I nodded my head as I left our section

I pushed my way through the crowd and finally got to the bar

Hi my name is X'ORI you can call me ORI for short. I'm 24 , I'm a first grade teacher

I'm originally from Memphis but moved to the Bronx when I was like 5-6 because of my parents divorce at the time

I'm single asf , Been single since my first ever break up which is a story for a whole another day

uh n yea

I put my stuff on the counter as I propped myself up on the stool

"Want anything to drink?" The bartender asked. "No thank you" I slightly smiled as I pulled out my phone

I began scrolling through my phone hoping the time
will go by faster you know

As I was scrolling I felt someone brush past me but I didn't care to look up

"Uh John let me get another hennessy bottle yo!" I heard a familiar deep voice

I scrunched up my face and looked up n my eyes met with the back of the guys head

The guy turned around and we instantly made eye contact n my eyes widen

It was my ex DAVID

" X'ori??" David lightly gasped. "David....." I mumbled

" Yo you good? I haven't seen you in a long time" He chuckled smiling. "Thank you boss" He said to the bartender as he reached over to grab the hennessy bottle

" How you been?" He asked putting his attention back on me. "I'm good plus I was just leaving" I sighed grabbing my stuff as I got up off the stool

"Wait!" I heard him say as I was about to walk off but turned around. "Can I get your number?" He asked. "No!" I smacked my lips before disappearing into the crowd

FLASHBACK 𝟬𝟭

" I DONT GIVE A FUCK DAVID!" I shouted throwing his stuff out our apartment we shared. "Man X'ORI chill out" He smacked his lips going to go pick up his clothes

" I didn't fuck that girl bro!" He argued. "Then why the fuck is she texting your phone" I fussed

"I read all the fucking messages dave. I'm not stupid" I said and he went silent

" Can we just talk please" He begged. "NO! I FUCKING HATE YOU" I screamed as tears ran down my face.

"ALL YOU DO IS CHEAT, YOU KEEP FUCKING HURTING ME AND I'M TIRED OF IT DAVE. I'M FUCKING TIRED. I CAN'T KEEP SAVING US......SAVING YOU. Go be with her. We're done" I cried before slamming the door in his face leaving him speechless

FLASHBACK OVER 𝟬𝟭

"Y'all I'm gonna catch me a Uber" I said to the girls. "Girl why? You good....what happened" Sienna asked

"I just gotta go . Imma tell y'all later" I said as I walked off

I called me a ride and went home and cleared my mind
