" David answer your phone it keeps ringing" I heard ori say in my sleep, I groaned rolling over grabbing my phone off charger

I slowly flickered my eyes open and scrunched up my face as the brightness from my phone beamed like crazy

I swiped up and seen my son calling me from off his iPad, I checked the date and time and it was saturday 𝟭𝟮:𝟯𝟬𝗽𝗺

I answered the call and I heard light cries coming from the other side of the phone

"Junior?" I questioned sitting up in the bed. "Daddy..." He sniffed

"What's wrong. Why you crying??" I asked. "I'm hungry" He cried

"Where's your mom?" I asked. "She's upstairs with her boyfriend" He said and my blood began to boil

"How long she been up there?" I asked. "Since yesterday. And I'm hungry. I haven't ate for two days" He cried and I immediately jumped up from the bed causing ori to look up at me crazy

"Junior go give the phone to your mom" I huffed. "I can't or she'll whoop me" He said. "Ight, Get ready. I'm gonna come pick you up" I said as I went into the bathroom

"Okay" He said. "See you later bud" I said before I hung up

I put my phone down on the sink and began washing up

"What happened?" I heard ori ask, I turned my head and seen she was standing at the door

"Ian mean to wake u up" I sighed. "I couldn't sleep anyways" She yawned

"You good?" She asked. "Nah man. Why my son just call me and say he's been starving for two whole fucking days at his moms house" I angrily said

"Where's his mom?" She asked. "That dumb ass hoe upstairs with her boyfriend. Watch I'm gonna take my son away from her. Trust" I sucked my teeth

"Can I come?" She asked. "Mhm, Hurry up tho" I said walking out the bathroom
