As the new group was getting settled in nat and Tony instantly crowded their friend from either side. "Okay so what do we need to know?" Tony whispered to her. She nodded and looked around before whispering to them. "So you know how you're here to watch klaus mikaelsons lost daughter?" The two nodded
"I'm pretty sure that's me." The two looked slightly shocked before they turned thoughtful. "I mean.." Nat trailed off getting a confused look from Alec, Tony continued for her "it does explain some things. Like the-" he did a wiggle motion with his hand. Nat nodded while Alec looked like she was trying not to laugh.
"Yeah- that's- yeah." She just shook her head. Regardless of what the screen might show, and who may turn against her. She had her little sheild family with her. With them she truly felt like she could face anything. Even the future.
As she turned she saw something out of the corner of her eye, on the Downworlders side. It was a small little girl with a scarf on, covering what appeared to be the girls warlock mark. The girl was shyly yet curiously at looking at her.
In a moment of bravery, She mouthed to the girl "I love your gills!" With a smile. The little one lit up at her words and gave her a near blinding smile before skipping off to the row in front of them.
The mikaelsons, minus Freya and Davina, gasped. Then all looked joyfully at each other. She knew who she was! Hope explained to the two who didn't have super hearing what they heard, including how the man and woman next to her said it would explain some things, then how the man wiggled his fingers. "Do you think she has powers? Like us?" Hope asked excitedly, it would be a dream come true for her to have something she loved in common with her sister.
During this, Klaus looked to his most sensible brother. "Brother... do you think she'll despise me for not being there for her?" It was truly a big worry of his. Elijah shook his head after thinking for a moment. "No brother, I think she'll understand that you had no knowledge of her existence. And you're already showing how much you care for her, even if she doesn't see it yet. And if she were to despise you, we will cross that bridge together. He put his hand on his brother shoulder, reassuring him.
Meanwhile Izzy and Jace were staring at their sister/parabati.
Izzy felt jealousy creeping up on her. Alec was sitting so close to the girl, Nat. The mysterious Natty her sister was talking to so freely with earlier on the phone. She can't remember the last time her and Alec just got to sit and be siblings. She didn't know who to blame. Alec? For not opening up to her sister? Herself? For never truly trying to understand her sister, or trying to help her around the institute. Or their parents? For always putting Alec under so much pressure. If she could go back and understand where it all when wrong, she would in a heartbeat.
