Running out of the forest Jimin doesn't really understand how he made it past the void or Taehyung's home but all he remembers is that his feet are aching from running, his lungs are burning because he's utterly out of breath, his head is too heavy and nausea had settled within him. he wants to throw up, fall down, and curl on the ground but he does nothing of the sort, instead, he continues to run, feeling as though if he stops his entire life would crumble apart as if it hadn't already done so. sweat is running down his body like he'd been under a heavy rainstorm and Jimin's eyes are glazed with both horror and rushing tears

so much has happened in these past few moments yet nothing is going through Jimin's mind, all he can feel is shock and fright coursing through his veins alongside the pain in his body. And at last, the wind carried him out of the forest and he can see the peaks of his house and he didn't know it was possible but he ran even faster toward his house, bolting like lightning toward his grandparents who had their faces twisted into worry looking around calling what we can only assume was his phone number, for them, he hadn't come back home from school still even though all of his friends are swearing that he had left early

Though Jimin fails to register it he can still see Hoseokis there as well, pacing around the front of their house on the road with so much anxiousness on his face that he might have turned sick. hand on his waist and steps fast as he has a phone pressed against his ear and he's rushing and rushing, his heart beating in his throat. Alas, the blond's step slowed down, his body was telling him he was safe again but he didn't really understand it because his mind was far too dazed right now. his feet become lethargic and he looks like he'll faint in a second

"Jimin?"

Hoseok is the first one who spots him, running toward him as his grandparents do too. Jimin can feel Hoseok's hand on his back but he's too breathless and his lungs feel like they'd collapse any minute and so do his legs, he's pale like he'd caught the worst of plagues, his lips have shaded purple and the sweat that covered his entire body and face had dampened him completely making it hard for them to understand if he was wet from water or sweat.

Hoseok's saying something but Jimin's vision is blurry and the colors are so vivid that they are blinding him, he furrows his brows, and hears his grandparents speak as well but nothing is coherent, and soon enough he falls to the ground with darkness that takes over both his sight and senses. his grandmother lets out a sob when Hoseok holds the boy in his arms almost immediately and carries him back into the house

they don't know what had happened to Jimin but something very wrong has happened and the fact that Jimin was running out of the forest in the state as his made his grandmother worried to the bones. Hoseok had offered to help the blond out of his damp clothes and tidy him up with a clean wet towel to bring down his fever which was making his skin burn.

Though they are scared and worried lifelessly his grandfather had left the room to call the doctor and his grandmother had left to quickly fix him some soup that would energize him and bring down his fever. she's shaking, dizzy with fear as she cuts the vegetable with clammy hands, her vision is blurry and she knows it's because of the irrational fright in her chest. her precious grandchild had come running out of the forest, scared out of his mind and the negative ideas that were flourishing in her mind were all she didn't want to pay attention to

she was too fixated on the task at hand, trying her best to not think about what could've possibly happened to Jimin, and when a hand presses against her shoulder she lets out a shriek, drops the knife on the ground and turns around so quickly as if she was a rabbit running from a predator. her eyes are wide and lips are apart, a hand pressing on her chest, and in the light of the kitchen the ring on her ring finger glimmers.
