Sarah's POV

My design was ready, I looked at it one more time for every minute detail. It seemed to be perfect. After keeping it away safely, I took a deep breath and was content with my work.

Taking a moment to relax after meticulously reviewing my design, I sat down on my recliner  As I closed my eyes to unwind and listen to my favorite songs, a sudden interruption jolted me from my tranquility—the doorbell rang.

I was thinking of making coffee and fixing a sandwich before my doorbell rang. I didn't want to meet anyone as of now. So, with a perplexed shake of my head, I made my way to the door and received a registered post from a solicitor.

Who would send me the notice and why??

Curiosity mingled with concern as I opened the envelope to read its contents.

What I discovered inside left me utterly shocked, rooted in place, and struggling to catch my breath.

The contents of the notice were beyond belief. The idea that he would take such extreme action was completely unreasonable and unimaginable to me.

This is insane!! How can he do such a thing?? It was absolutely unreasonable, I could not even think that he would do it.

Sanya, what have you gotten me into?

I immediately called my twin and told her to come to meet me urgently at my office.

In about 30 minutes, she arrived, her face filled with worry and confusion. "What is it? What's the problem? I was so scared.  Why did you make it sound like an emergency as if the office was on fire?? " she inquired anxiously.

"You should be scared," I responded, handing her the notice. "Read this, and you'll understand the dire consequences of being impulsive and irresponsible." I retorted.

Her eyes scanned the document, and her expression mirrored my disbelief. "Christopher Banks is threatening to sue you for damaging his brand new Bentley?" She exclaimed.

"Yes, exactly! Now tell me, what should I do? He's demanding a replacement, or he'll take legal action against me, and I simply can't afford it," I explained, my voice filled with desperation.

" Oh, God!! Go and talk to him. There's no other way out," She suggested her tone firm.

"Are you out of your mind? You should ask Nate to talk to him. He can help us by talking to him, after all, they are cousins." I suggested, trying to avoid a direct confrontation.

"No! I can't involve Nate," She firmly rejected my suggestion.

"What do you mean, you cant involve Nate? It's your fault, and now that insane man is sending me legal notice  when he should be sending it to you. You have to handle this yourself, because I refuse to face him again," I retorted, frustration and fear creeping into my voice.

"Don't you understand? I can't tell the truth to Nate. How can I possibly explain everything?" She replied. I was feeling trapped.

"But why should I suffer when it was you who caused the damage? I can't handle this. At the very least, tell Nate that I accidentally smashed his cousin's car. He must help us," I insisted.

"Be reasonable! He's my fiancé. I can't ask him for money without telling him that I am involved in this. No!! We have to find a solution on our own," she reasoned, hoping I would understand.

"We? This is entirely your problem. Your fiancé can't be involved, which means I'm the one left dealing with this issue alone, right?" I protested.

"Money is not a big deal for Chris, but you wounded his ego. That's it!! He simply wants to meet you. He will take legal action if you don't meet him,  Please, go and talk to him. He will understand and resolve the matter," She pleaded, her voice tinged with desperation.
