Jayson held on one backpack strap as he walked towards the school when a black car came speeding past him almost hitting him but he jumped out the way
"What the hell" he stared stunned as Brook pulled up right behind the car
"Are you okay?" Brooke looked over at Jayson as she stepped out the car and slammed the door
"Yeah unless we're both dead" he replied while she stormed over to the guy who stepped out his car with Jayson walking up to the pair
"Hey, buddy that's my spot" Brooke stopped I her tracks "what are you doing here? You're the pool boy"
"You no park here" the guy said in a mocking way with a smug grin on his face, he laughed and walked away leaving Brooke stunned
"You know this guy?" Jayson asked stopping beside him
"No" Brooke turned storming towards her car "I've just seen him naked" Jayson glared at the guy with a confused look then turned to Brooke who was driving away

"Hey you" Jayson smiled walking towards Haley at the cafe
"Hey J" she smiled back "what's up?"
"Almost got ran over today" he shrugged and she raised an eyebrow "yeah, by the new kid Felix"
"Ah" she nodded "guess he's already famous around here"
"You've met him?"
"Yeah he was hitting on me this morning" she explained put a cup of coffee in front of him
"Thanks" he took the cup "how's Nathan doing?"
"Pretty good" she nodded jumping on the counter "Lucas got him a job with Keith"
"That's great" he smiled taking a sip of his coffee
"What about you?" She smiled "you got a job to pay for everything yet?"
"Uh not really"
"I could ask Nathan to get you-
"No, no Haley there's no need" he stopped her "I don't want to become charity for Keith once again"
"You're like his son Jayson, you know he'll do anything for you right?"
"I know that's the problem I don't want to, I moved so he didn't have to take care of someone else when he was having such a hard time"
