ARWA'S POV

I locked the last lid and placed it in the fridge

Mama is coming back today so i prepped the food she likes

She's coming back late i think, so when she's back i'll just finish everything up

Also, im starting my internship today

Im excited but then nervous at the same time

He told me to come by 11pm since its my first day

And I have like 3 hours to get ready and leave

I looked around the kitchen and i almost cried

I really miss hasina

She left some days before mama and her wedding is in a week time i think

Even baba said if there was a way he could convince her father he would but the man wasn't bulging

Allah knows best

But baba and mama made sure they got her everything she'll need

Mama gave her some boxes with clothes, like a mini lefe. While baba got her furnitures since her family was initially supposed to do it, then some capital, for her to start a business of her choice

Lord knows we're all going to miss her

I went to my room and got dressed, since i already showered before I prayed Fajr

I wore something simple. A maroon knee length gown with slits by the side, then a black palazzo

I did a wrap round with a black veil, then i put on black sneakers

I cant just barge in with heels in my first day unfortunately

After getting everything ill need in my handbag, i switched off the light and went downstairs

I met yaya ammar watching a documentary in the living room

"Bakiyi kyau bah."

I ignored him and went to get a bottle of water

I came back just as khairat walked in

"My beautiful baby." I smiled at her and she greeted yaya ammar with a small smile

Yau kuma?

And she didnt look like she was in a bad mood

"Khairy munyi fada neh?"

Shikanshi he knew something is wrong

She ignored him and walked to me

He turned to me with wide eyes and mouthed 'me nayi?'

I shrugged because i also had no idea

"Dama i came to wish you all the best neh for your first day." I hugged her with a smile

She's so sweet

We walked outside leaving a shocked and presumably hurt ya ammar

Khairat has never behaved like that, even if he did something wrong
