I was devastated by the fact that he is no more.

Two days ago he was texting me and now he is dead.

I was sitting in the bathtub after returning from the funeral.

It's been one hour I have been zoned out in the bathtub and all I could think was how; how was it possible?

Knock on the door*

"Aadhya!! Are you okay?" Reena shouted.

"Yes!" I said struggling to speak out loud.

I got out of the bathtub, got dressed and opened the door.

"Are you okay? God, what took you so long?" Reena said in deep concern.

"I was washing my hairs so it took me time, chill." I replied.

"Everyone is waiting for you at the dinner table."

We went to have dinner and everyone was already seated but plates empty.
Seeing us approach the table the food was served.

Before I start eating, I always had salad first and unfortunately it was in front of Aarnav.

"Aarnav can you pass me the salad?" I asked.

"Firstly it's Mr. Aarnav Oberoi and secondly get up and take the salad yourself." He said arrogantly.

"How are you talking to her?" Aunty asked.

"Is this the way you talk to the guest?" Uncle asked.

"It's fine uncle-aunty I'll take it."

"No wait." Reena said and called out the maid to serve me salad.

*Next Morning*

"Didi please give me a hot coffee, I am sitting outside on the table." I told the maid and waited for everyone for breakfast.

The moment I took the first sip of my coffee I spitted out everything.

"What the hell is this?" I shouted and the maid came out.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Why is the coffee so spicy?"

"I didn't do anything."

"So how does the coffee... " I stopped speaking.

I realized who must have done that.
