Oh, love's bittersweet embrace,
We danced in shadows, lost in space.
Our hearts entwined, yet torn apart,
Aching souls, a shattered art.
In the depths of night, we found release,
But love's cruel game brought no peace.
With every touch, a painful sting,
Aching hearts, the pain would bring.
Yet in this darkness, a truth we find,
Love's betrayal, the ultimate bind.
For in letting go, we set hearts free,
To find the love we're meant to be.
