Though it's a team that doesn't have a name, it's labeled as Team Emerald in the team selection, as it suggests comes from the ancient eras. Most of its missions consist on finding Master Emerald shards, similar to Knuckles and Rouge's missions in Sonic Adventure 2, however the missions also consist on speed runs and time trials. The levels have medium difficulty. Team Ancient's Team Blast is Tikal's Prayer, in where Tikal chants a pray that citates as "The servers are the 7 Chaos. Chaos is power... Power enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos." After this, a dim-light green emerald colored energy, that surrounds both Chaos and Emerl, and they release an explosive Blast that destroys all the enemies.

Tikal (Flight) [Chao's Friend and Pacifist] *She flies with her teammates by becoming a spirit *When on ground, can softly punch or slap the enemies (or opossing team) *Can climb walls too on ground
Chaos (Power) [Chao's Guardian] *Glides naturally similar to Knuckles *When fully leveled up, attacks the enemies (or opossing team) with big water bubbles that explode
