I woke up with a start, snapping my eyes open and looked around, I was laying comfortably on the grass

'(What the... what was that place? And why did I have to wake up now?... Ugh, I feel so tired...)'

I dropped my head back onto the ground and closed my eyes

"Sy!" Sophie's voice called out, causing my ears to perk up against my will "Let's get started! It's getting late and we still aren't set up for the night!"

"Alright, who's going to handle the food?"

"We'll worry about that after the fire's going!" Sophie said in her signature high voice

'(Ugh... I'm just gonna... go back to... sleep...)' my tiredness overcame me and I slipped off back to sleep

I woke back up to being gently shaken awake

"Lunaaa, it's time for you to wake up! You need to eat!" Sophie's soft gentle voice said to a very much still asleep me

'Huh?...' I sleepily looked up at her for a moment before dropping my head back down. From the brief moment I saw her, she seemed to be crouched down next to me

"Come on Luna, wake up, aren't you hungry? The sun's already starting to go down!"

'Food?...'

"Yes! Your food is ready!"

'Fiiine...' I said getting up and sleepily walked up next to her as she started standing up

System's sudden announcement made me nearly jump in fright, though I did leave the ground for a small split second

'Eek!!'

"Huh!? Luna!? What's wrong!?" Sophie asked in a startled but worried voice

'N-Nothing!'

"What scared you? It's okay!" sophie asked in a confused but concerned tone at first, before continuing in a comforting voice

'It's nothing! Don't worry about it! Hehe... (System!!!! I'm so glad you're still here!!! I'm so sorry for neglecting you so much!! I'll talk with you much more, just please don't leave me ever again!! But could you, not jump scare me like that? Or do actually! Then I'll be awake and alert! Ahh you're so awesome!)'

"Okay then! But if you ever get scared-"

'I WASN'T SCARED! I wasn't scared at all! *nervous fear noises*'

My sudden outburst seemed to have caught her off guard, leaving her very confused

"O-Okay then...?"

'(Heh?)'

Ah, ya gotta love the good ol' confusion stalemate! Where all participants are utterly confused!

[I, never left? I have always been here with you. I am incapable of leaving.]

"Are you two alright? What the hell happened?" I heard sylas say softly

'The last ten seconds didn't happen, nothing happened at all yes?'

"Y-yeah... maybe I should have let you sleep..."

'(System! I called out to you so many times! But you never responded! I was all alone in that weird place! Please don't leave me again! I don't wanna be alone in this world!)'
