Your smile is my lighthouse;
Tousled by the raging waves of my ocean,
I am upturned and imbalanced,
For I am too sightless to find a shore
In this unfortunate time of a tsunami.
Yet, just a flicker of your light is enough for me
To unbind myself from the watery shackles
That hold my wrists away from my heart:
The heart, which continues to be yours.
Take care of my heart,
It is all yours —
Yours to heal,
Yours to break.
I am no longer a product of my thoughts —
I am just a shadow of your magnificent self,
Following your footsteps,
Uncaring to the danger of being unbeknonwst to this path;
I am the dust you leave behind
When you walk on the streets,
Leaving me unsettled and unrested, but in the best way;
I am the tiny squeak that you elicit when you laugh,
Simply a result of your moments of utmost glee;
I am your slave,
Having my heart chained to yours
And being dragged along wherever you go,
Yet, it makes me feel closer to you.
I exist for you.
Every piece of my being is made up of you,
Longing to reunite with you,
Begging and weeping to be connected
To its owner.
If you are my moon,
I shall be your star —
Far, far away from your grande entity,
But admiring you forever,
Loving your forever.
