𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹𝒀𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑾𝑨𝑺 fine for the most part Christiana and Brian still had a strained relationship but they were willing to put that aside for Jesse. The Parents spent three hours talking last night figuring out how to approach the situation they were now in.
They settled on Brian meeting Jesse and if everything went smoothly he'd see Jesse more often. Their relationship on the other hand was a more complicated topic the two talked things over deciding it would be best to try the friend thing again with no funny business this time
The morning after Christiana and Brian talked was calm Christiana was busy with her usual motherly duties. She was currently trying to persuade Jesse to change shoes for school
"JJ I know I usually let you pick out your clothes but you can't go to school in house shoes" Christiana sighed looking at the child "But mom I'm tired and these are tired shoes" Jesse groaned as he hunched over dramatically
"I know honey but you can't wear these out"Christiana explained running her through her hair "But mom" Jesse sighed throwing his arms down "Listen how about you go fi-" the brown-eyed woman started getting cut off by a knock on the door
"Someone knocking on the door"
"Thank you Jesse" Christiana responded with a soft chuckle before standing up "Jesse find every comfy shoe you have so we can figure this out" Christiana sighed before turning around to the front door when she opened it she was met with Brian
"What are you doing here?" Christiana blurted out making Brian scrunch his eyebrows "I want to meet him" Is all Brian said
"Brian it's eight o'clock don't you have work?"
"All I have to do is plant some drugs I can do that whenever"
The response made Christiana look at the blue-eyed man dumbfounded "The correct response was I do but later by the way" The shocked girl commented
"Mom I got all my shoes!"
Christiana turned around to see Jesse carrying four pairs of shoe's including his house shoes "Why do you have your house shoes?" Christiana asked in a sing-song voice "You told me to get my comfy shoes" Jesse mocked making the mom's eyes squint
