"Sam?" I ask as I grab my phone. He wakes up the moment I said his name.
"Yes?" he asks.
"On a scale of 1-10, how fucked would I be if your fans found out about us?" I ask.
"8," he replies.
"Then I'm pretty damn fucked. They figured it out. And I don't know how," I say.
"What's it saying?" he asks. Tears start rolling down my face.
"Death threats, hate, the same stuff Colby's girls get," I respond. Sam hugs me. I hug back and cry into his shoulder.
"Let's make a video. Telling them to stop. I know some of them just want attention, but some of them are likely for real with this. I can't let it continue," he offers. I nod and wipe my tears as he gets the camera ready.
"What's up guys? Most of you have probably heard I broke up with Kat to get together with Storme. And there's an issue we need to address," he starts.
"I woke up this morning with thousands of notifications from you guys. Some of you have been really supportive and I appreciate it. Some of you have been hating on me. Sending me death threats. A lot of the stuff Colby's girls get," I continue.
"It hurts both of us when you say these things. I don't want to block you guys, but I will if you keep saying this kind of shit about my girlfriend. Stop. Or I will block you," he finishes. He turns off the camera and edits it. He releases it and we start watching Netflix. After a few hours of binging, we look at the comments. So many people are supportive, a lot more than before. But there are still some that are negative. We ignore them and go to Starbucks because I need coffee. I see a sign for drinks made for zodiacs.
"Can we get a Caramel Galaxy, a Peppermint white Mocha Frappuccino, a Sagittarius drink, and...?" I add a few more simple orders that work for beginners as I get an idea for Colby's video that he's been struggling to come up with a topic for. They repeat the order.
"Yeah, that's right," I respond.
"Pull up," they say. I pull up and grab our drinks, paying.
"There's seven drinks there," Sam acknowledges.
"I ordered seven drinks," I respond.
"Why?" he asks.
"To see if Colby would like the recommended drink for a Capricorn," I respond. I drive us back to the Trap House.
"COLBY!" I yell.
"WHAT?!" he yells back.
"GET YOUR CAMERA AND GET DOWN HERE!! I HAVE A VIDEO IDEA!!" I yell. He comes down with his camera.
"Yeah?" he asks.
"You're trying Starbucks for the first time," I respond.
"With you guys, I'd assume?" he asks. I laugh and nod. I pull up YouTube and see so many comments. Most positive. I turn comments off on my channel and put it away.
"WHAT'S UP GUYS! COLBY BROCK HERE!!" he yells, causing Sam and I to jump.
"I'm recently deafened, Storme Desantis," I say.
"And I'm Sam Golbach," Sam says.
"Today, I'm trying Starbucks for the first time. What are the drinks, Storme?" Colby asks.
"This one is a hot chocolate," I say, pointing to the first one. "Caramel Galaxy." I point to the second one. "Vanilla bean Frappuccino." I point to the third one. "White chocolate mocha." I point to the fourth one. "And a water." I point to the last one.
"What about those two?" he asks, pointing to my drink and Sam's drink.
"Not for you," Sam and I respond at the same time.
"Not even going to tell me the names?" Colby asks.
"Storme Special and Sammy Delight," I say.
"Anyway," Sam jumps in. "Let's start with the hot chocolate." Colby takes a sip first.
"It's hot," he says. "And decent."
"I wonder why it's hot," I say, taking a sip. "It'd be better with peppermint." Sam takes a sip and comes to the conclusion that he's not the biggest fan.
"Caramel Galaxy next?" I ask.
"Sure," Colby says, grabbing it. He takes a sip. "That's actually pretty good," he concludes, taking another drink. I grab it from him and taste it. Pretty good for a caramel drink. I still gag, not really liking caramel.
"I don't like caramel," I respond to Colby's look of shock and confusion. We go in order, giving honest opinions.
"Overall," Colby says at the end. "The Caramel Galaxy was the best and the hot chocolate was the worst. In my opinion."
"I'd have to say Caramel Galaxy was the worst and the vanilla bean Frappuccino was the best," I say.
"Hot chocolate was the worst and the white chocolate mocha was the best," Sam says. We argue for a second as to why we believe this. Colby ends the video then retreats to his room to edit. Sam and I go to our room.
"Sam!" Colby calls. I follow.
"Yeah?" Sam asks.
"What they're saying about Storme," Colby responds. I can see the anger in his eyes.
"What are they saying?" I ask.
"The usual for the girls I'm seen with. This is not normal for girls Sam is seen with," Colby responds.
"I hate it," Sam mutters. He comes up next to Colby and with each comment he reads, his face gets redder and his fists clench tighter. I start massaging his shoulders. He visibly relaxes.
"The crap that they're saying doesn't affect me much," I assure him.
"So you turned comments off of all your socials for no reason?" Sam asks. He's furious.
"Much, being the key word there. I just didn't want to have to worry about it under all my posts because then I would be drawn to reading them and that's not good for my mental health," I explain. Sam nods and we go back to his room. We end up falling asleep while cuddling and watching Netflix. The next day, Sam tells me that him and Colby are going for a filming trip to Florida.
"When?" I ask.
"Tomorrow," he responds. I look at him.
"And you're just now telling me?" I ask.
"Yeah?" he responds.
"How long?" I ask.
"Couple weeks," he responds. I nod.
"Are you two packed?" I ask as Colby comes down the stairs.
"Yeah," the pair respond in unison. I roll my eyes. We have a lot of fun today. Colby and I compete to see who can last longer in Kingdom Hearts and Elton and I play fight. I win a number of times, shocking everyone.
"You have to know how to fight with my life," I respond simply and walk to the kitchen, grabbing some food.
"Hey," Sam says as he enters.
"Hey. Call me every night while in Florida," I say.
"I will. I'll miss you, you know?" he asks.
"I'll miss you too, Sammy. I just know that you'll be back in no time," I respond. I go over and hug him. Jake comes in the kitchen and goes for my bacon cheeseburger. I slap his hand away and glare at him. The boor boy runs off, terrified of what I would have done had he taken a bite. The next day, Sam and Colby go to Florida and the realization of being separated from Sam sinks in. Along with the anxiety.
