As mysterious green flashes emit in the sky, overnight, a huge erect cylinder steams off in the air, after it unscrews, a creature emerges. Will the objects survive this? Or is this a...
Mars. What can one say about this strange, desolate planet? Satellite photographs indicate no sign of life.. or is there?
A strange, three legged, Martian Taxi walks around in the harsh deserts, a sandstorm is imminent to happen, which will cause visibility to drop to basically nothing.

It walks around for a while, until it reaches a Martian city, a secret opening to a hidden base unlocks, letting the machine in. A long metallic hallway full of submerged tanks were hooked up along the sides. The liquids inside were blue. The Taxi finishes walking and mates to a docking ramp, where a sluggish, red-orange Martian walks out of the cockpit, followed by his 2 "bodyguards". Eventually, they reach a room with 5 more Martians inside, the bodyguards stand guard outside the door, while the Elder Martian climbs up a pedestal to join his comrades.
A light shined on one of the Elders.
"The age of disillusionment and decay is over, I have never before witnessed a mass telepathic execution, but today the reminisce of our society have displayed their disheartenment and desperation, they had judged the senior elder to be ineffectual and have terminated his appointment in the harshest manner, the gravity of our situation is extreme." He said.
A light shined on another
"Mars is incapable of sustaining life, our efforts to maintain the biosphere are exhausted, the water tables have temperature decreased annually, as thus our population." He also continued.
And another..
"The only consequential course of action is the conquest and occupation of Earth, out young, sunward neighbor." This Elder then activates a hologram picture of Earth, but more specifically, they zoomed in on Goiky.
"Earth is abundant with life and resources are bountiful, the environment will seem uncomfortable but not inhibited." He continues.
Another Elder however, took note of the Objects living there.
"The problem is of course the Objects, they have developed primitive intelligence, yet their society is structured around perpetual conquests and conflict, a rapid offensive to their social and economic heart should prevent any significant opposition." He said.
A window then opens to the Martian Testing and Loading Bay.
"The means and methods for this attack are already being realized."

"A large scale hydrogen accelerator will be constructed, this will launch suspension pods carrying the assault forces. We had not had the need for such destructive weaponry in over five thousand years, but modifications to our current technology will take place and should prove adequate to defeat the inferior human defences."

10th pod launch cycle
"The tenth pod has been launched, given that the launch cycle was one Earth day, the first has already arrived and is commencing the invasion" an Elder said.
