CRUEL INTENTIONS

Chapter 32

Carvida heard a knock on the door and immediately stood up from the bed with a frown. She wondered who it was since Mr Roger would never come to her house. Sighing softly, she went down the stairs carefully, her baby bump was now even more visible and so she was also careful as well with her steps.

She walked slowly to the door and looked through the peephole. Her heart raced as her eyes widened in surprise, happiness and shock. She immediately opened the door and stared in shock at Lucius who looked right back at her from head to toe with love before his eyes slowly landed on her baby bump. His blue eyes widening in surprise.

"Y-You are pregnant?" Lucius asked unable to take his eyes off her belly.

She snapped out of her trance and threw herself on him instead of answering, hugging him tighter than ever while sobbing. "Oh my God you are really here!! You returned to me! You really came back" Carvida rambled on while clenching his suit jacket tightly. She could not believe it, he was really here. Lord thank you so much!

"I'm right here my love I promised you that I would return. I'm so sorry for taking long" Lucius replied hugging her back tightly wrapping his muscular arms around her and inhaling her scent.

Carvida shook her head and held onto him tighter "It's fine. You are back that's all that matters" She whispered softly burying her face in the crook of his neck.

"Baby?" Lucius called out after a few seconds, tightening his hold on her. She hummed in reply still holding him close to her.

"You are pregnant right? I know it's mine but I just want to be sure I'm not hallucinating right now" Lucius asked softly making her pull slightly away to look at him. Right her pregnancy...She was definitely happy that Lucius trusted her love.. Instead of asking her if she slept with someone else, he confidently said it was his. That made her heart smile but... Still she was nervous.

Nonetheless, she took a deep breath and looked into his eyes before answering "Yeah I am... I'm pregnant with twins... Our sons"

Lucius'eyes widened.. They were filled with so many emotions.. Surprise.. guilt.. sadness
...longing and happiness. Her heart raced as she waited in anticipation for him to say something, hoping he was happy. Because she was pregnant with not only one baby. But two.

She continued to stare at him as a cheeky smile slowly appeared on his face "I'm going to be a father!" He exclaimed happily before pulling her closer to him and kissing her passionately before she could even react.

She exhaled in relief that he was happy and kissed him back lovingly. Their lips moving together while they shared a passionate kiss filled with love, affectionate and longing.

"Fuck, you just made me even more happier than ever" Lucius whispered against her lips before kissing her again.

She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck in response before kissing him back passionately. She had missed this so much. The feel of his soft lips against hers. His touch. His scent. His cologne. Lord she was happier than ever today. It was like a dream come true and she still could not believe that the love of her life was really back after so long.

She felt her eyes turned very teary as she remembered how she struggled to continue pushing forward these past few months. "I love you so much" She whispered once they broke the kiss.

Lucius stared at her lovingly in response and wiped her tears as they fell. "I love you so very much too my little flower. I'm so so so sorry for not being here during these past months. God you were pregnant and I could not even be here to take care of you properly" Lucius whispered back looking sad and guilty.

"Hey.. It's okay... You sacrificed your freedom for me and I can't ever be mad at you for being away for so long because I know you were trying your best to return to me. You are back now. That's the only important thing to me" Carvida replied caressing his cheek gently. She smiled as Lucius leaned into her touch with longing in his eyes.

"You are right I'm back now and I'll take good care of you every single day" Lucius replied placing a soft kiss on her palm.

"I know you will" She replied staring at him with immense love and affection. "Now that you returned... I presume that man is dead" She added wanting to know for sure that Aziel was gone for good.

"Yes Aziel is dead my love, I took my revenge" Lucius replied his eyes darkening as he tightened his hold on her even more.

She exhaled softly, relief spreading through her that Aziel was finally dead after all the misery he caused her and Lucius. "What happened to you for the past few months?" She asked, fearing that the answer would not please her one bit.

"My baby.... It's all over now.. Let's not talk about it okay" Lucius said with a soft and gentle voice making her sigh. If Lucius was unwilling to tell her. It meant he suffered a lot. Her heart ached at the thought and she looked down instantly. It was her fault after all that he suffered.

"Now don't you dare blame yourself. I know that's what you are doing right now"Lucius said firmly but she still did not look up.

"I'm sorry" She muttered instead hearing Lucius sigh softly.

"My love... It was not your fault. I did what I had to do to protect the life of the one I love" Lucius replied lifting her chin up to stare into her amber eyes.

Her heart skipped a beat at the endless amount of affection, love and passion swirling in Lucius'blue eyes. She realised in that instant how truly lucky she was to have such a loving person in her life. To have him as hers. He was not a hero. He was a misunderstood villain and like they say.. A hero would sacrifice his love for the greater good, because of his morals and principles but a villain would happily burn down the whole world and piss on everyone's grave with a smile on his face if it meant his love was safe and happy in return. That was exactly how Lucius was. And she would never trade her life for anything...
