Chapter 9 Part 2: Lexi's Birthday

The day had finally come that James had been planning for a while now and it was Lexi's birthday and luckily, it was also her day off and so he had planned out the whole day but the thing that he was mostly anxious about, was a surprise involving a special guest performance on the new small stage at his record store.

The first thing for James to do today was have a shower and after his shower, he got changed into some clothes that he had picked out for today.

After putting his clothes on, James made his way downstairs and he grabbed his wallet and keys after giving his Belgian Malinois dog Charlie a treat and then he left his house and locked up after getting his car out of his garage.

James drove to his local donut place and he grabbed a box of donuts and two coffees and then he drove right to Lexi's place.

When he arrived at Lexi's place, he parked his car and then he grabbed the coffees and donuts and he walked up to Lexi's front door and he knocked on and he waited for a little bit.

Meanwhile, Lexi was sat on her couch with her dogs and pig and all of a sudden, she heard a knock at her door.

Lexi: i wonder who that is ?

Lexi got up off her couch and she walked towards her front door and when she opened it, she saw James stood there with a smile on his face and he was holding a box of donuts and two cups of coffee.

James: happy birthday gorgeous !

Lexi: hi baby, come in.

Lexi closed the door behind James and when he put the coffee and donuts down on her kitchen island, she snuck up behind him and when he turned around to face her, she jumped into James' arms and she wrapped her arms and legs tightly around around him.

James held Lexi tightly and when they looked into each other's eyes, Lexi then planted lots of kisses all over James' face.

James: oh, someone's happy to see me huh ?

Lexi: yep.

Lexi got down from James and she grabbed a hold of his hand.

Lexi: now come and sit down on the couch with me.

James: okay, you're the birthday girl.

Lexi: that's right.

Lexi stood next to her couch and she pointed at it as she looked right at James.

Lexi: now sit.

James playfully raised an eyebrow and he smirked flirtatiously at Lexi.

James: yes ma'am.

Lexi pushed him down on the couch and she sat side saddle on James' lap and she put her arm around the back of his neck as she pulled his face closer to hers with her other hand and then she kissed him passionately on his lips.

While they made out, James' hand was now on her thigh and then it slid up her torso and up to her face and then he ran his fingers through Lexi's hair while they made out which made her smile while they continued to make out.

When they eventually stopped making out, James looked over at the coffee and donuts that he brought over and he nodded at them.

James: I'll bring them over, you stay here.

As James was walking over to her kitchen island, Lexi found herself checking him out and when James turned around to bring the coffee and donuts, he caught Lexi checking him out and he had a smirk on his face.

James: (chuckles) naughty girl.

Lexi looked down as her cheeks turned bright red and she bit her bottom lip.
