It was the early afternoon on a friday. The voids were looking extra gloomy and it really wasn't a day to be leaving the house. It was a lazy day and Mr plant and Argos decided to stay over at Argos' void but quickly found themselves only getting increasingly boried. There was nothing to do, nowhere to go, no one to go visit. Argos was already becoming restless and while Mr plant was able to be at home doing nothing, he himself was also being bored. Well, until he'd found a book tucked into a small cabinet next to the sofa the pair we're sitting in.
" Remind me again why we can't just go somewhere?" questioned Argos. He couldn't really understand why they had to stay at home. They could be doing so many things right now and their chosing not to.
"Ok, where should we go then?" Mr plant signed
Argos paused.
"Well, maybe we could.... Or there this new place called..um.how about we try going on a walk near.....ok why not visit ...um.."
Mr plant raised an eyebrow.
"Why can't we just go somewhere ?! It so boring just sitting here, doing nothing !" whined Argos.
Mr plant placed the book he was reading down before signing
"Im reading, I could give you the book if you really want to be doing something productive."
Argos looked down at the book.
"Thanks but I already read that book at least 3 times. So, can we go somewhere !"
"Not until you can think of somewhere to go, Argos." Mr plant signed
"Don't be so smug !"
Argos rested his head on the cushion, starting to look around for something to do.
One minute passes

Then five

And then ten

And after fifteen minutes of searching for something, anything to do, Argos was starting to lose hope.
Finally, stubborn Argos was going to admit defeat when he remembered he had a baking book tucked in between pots and pan in a kitchen cabinet. He walked to the kitchen and sure enough, there it was, laying inside the cabinet next to some pans.
The 100 treat, cake and sweet recipes, the end of Argos boredom.
The cover looked so shiny and new that it was no wonder Argos bought to. Except he hadn't used it since. He proped the book up on a fruit bowl and began flipping the pages to find something he was in the mood for baking. He stopped on the page that read:
"Red velvet cakes with thick vanilla butter-cream"
"Skill set: intermediate (medium)"
After quickly skimming over the ingredients and baking tools needed, Argos then proceed to metaphorical tear his kitchen apart.
After finally getting all he needed for his necessaries, he tied back his hair and started getting to work.

After Argos had finally put the cakes in the oven, he had began to mix together ingredients for the cream. While he was stirring the ingredients, he didn't seem to notice Mr plant quietly place his book on the sofa and start to sneak up on him from behind. Slowly and quickly, Mr plant slid his arm around Argos' waist. Argos shrieked softly as he laughed
"Ahh! Mr plant ~! What are you doing?"
Mr plant could smell something, something sweet. He didn't
"Ah ! I made some red velvet cakes. There just baking now."
Mr plants eyes sparkled, while he ran over to the oven, bumping into a cabinet on his way.
"See? I can be productive if I really want to~" Argos said with a sly tone
Mr plant would have come up with a good response but he was too hyperfixated on the oven and the incredible smells imiting from it.
He turned to sign
"Can I have some, please ?"
"I don't know, CAN you ?"
"Don't be like that." Mr plant replied
"Ok fine, but only because you asked politely.♡"
Mr plant didn't show it but he was very. Very happy
The recipe stated that the cakes had to be baking for another 20 minutes so Argos spent those 20 minutes sitting with Mr plant on the sofa with ever 5 minutes, Mr plant get up to 'check on the cakes' when really he just went to smell the smell.

Sooner then later, the cakes were finally to be chilled which took about 5 minutes, to Mr plants horror and finally, they were ready to be decorated with a generous dollop of butter-cream on top. Mr plant helped very willingly.
Before they could even dine, they set up the plates and forks and overall table arrangement. It looked very clean with baby blue china plates and stainless steal forks. And with the additional plastic colored cups, the pair were ready to sit down and enjoy.
The cakes were soft and red-velvety, with the butter-cream giving it a sweet hint.
Needless to say, Mr plant and Argos found it to be delious.
After eating all 10 of the cakes, they realized soon that now, they once again had nothing to do. Mr plant suggested that they could television. Argos was preparing to speak up before looking over at the spot on the sofa where Mr plant had been moments ago. The blankets and pillows made it look very cozy, in contrast to the cold and melancholy appearance of the voids this time of year. Argos had then decided that the next best thing to do after eating those yummy cakes was to curl up on the sofa with his love. After a prolonged pause, Argos had spoken up and said
"You know what, that sounds like thr best thing right now. <3"
