Udaipur, Next Morning

Shubham was running along the lanes of Udaipur. The sudden loneliness ripping the room with Ansh's departure woke up him unusually early and the love realisation had his adrenaline pump up pushing him to take a run on a the lanes instead of his treadmill. With his earbuds plugged in and hoodie drawn over he was totally in his own zone until he stopped on seeing something, Suhana's car parked on the side of the road. He recognised it in an instant on seeing the number plate and looked ahead to find her seated on the bench of a 24 hour coffee stall. Looking at her he knew something was off, the usual twinkle in her eyes wasn't there. Taking the hood off his head he walked towards her. Removing his ear buds he placed them in as he stood before Suhana but she didn't seem to notice his presence as she was lost somewhere

"Su...Fracture wali doctor" Shubham called her out amidst the thumping of his heart at the mere sight of her

"Hey...Hey Shu..Bhams...hey" Suhana jerked to reality

"Kya baat hai...itni subah aap yahan pe" he asked sitting beside her

"Kuch...Kuch nahi woh bas..." she said in a voice that looked like an outburst is possible any moment

"Mam your coffee" the shop keeper handed her coffee mug to Suhana

"Thank you" she said

"Sir would you like something?" Asked the shop keeper

"A double strong black coffee" said Shubham and the shopkeeper went back nodding his head in confirmation and Shubham turned to find Suhana staring at her coffee mug blankly

"Fracture wali doctor..kahan ko gayi hai aap...zyada dher karenge toh coffee thanda hojayega" said Shubham and thats it tears started slipping down Suhana's eyes

"Arrey mein toh bas aise hi keh raha tha..agar aapko thanda coffee pasand hai toh wahi sahi..iss keliye aap ro kyu rahi ho?" Shubham asked as her tears worried him

"Zyada dher hona kitna baari pad saktha haina Bhams?" Suhana asked him

"Mein samja nahi..." said Shubham too worried and confused on what had happened with her

"Kabhi kabhi zyada dher hojana jaan bhi le leta hai...." Said Suhana wiping her tears off her cheeks

"Im still not sure what has happened Fracture wali doctor...par itna pata hai ki aap disturbed ho aur jab hum disturbed hote hai tab humein kisi se khulke baat kar leni chahiye aisa karenge toh man halka hojayega...isiliye please mujse share kijiye..shayad aapka man bhi halka hojaye.." he said controlling his surging urge to run his fingers along her cheekbone rubbing off the tear drop that was rolling down

"Woh...woh...aaj...thodi dher pehle ek patient aaye the ambulance mein...hum sa emergency mein the...the patient had a cardiac arrest...we did CPR to try to save him...but after 5 rounds of it...the patient died right in front of our eyes....hum unko bacha nahi paye the...kaash...kaash woh kuch dher pehle aajathe...we could have saved him...par dher hone ki wajah se he he died.....(she breaks down crying) Whats the use of all ths education, the degree if we could not save someone....aaj aisa lag raha hai ki I failed as a doctor...." Words fell short and Suhana started weeping unconsolably. Shubham's heart broke into million pieces on seeing her like that. It was the first time she was so vulnerable in front of him..
