Sophie's POV
The car pulled to a stop just in front of the school. Biana had gotten us a fancy limo, which was definitely not necessary, but it was fun. She had also taken it upon herself to do all of our hair and makeup, and even though I wasn't the biggest fan of it, we looked amazing. I was nervous about going to this dance with Keefe. I was so excited when he asked me. I had never really thought he would like me back. I was also so excited for all of my friends. Biana had been asked out by Tam, which was surprising, but I also thought that they were perfect for each other. Dex had asked Marella to go with him and I think that her firey personality and his shyness compliment each other well. I was not at all surprised that Linh and Wylie went together, they were just so good for each other.
We stood outside, waiting for the boys to arrive. When their car pulled up, they all stepped out, and when they spotted us, I swear all of their jaws dropped and they stared for like a solid 10 seconds. I spotted keefe wearing an ice blue suit that complimented his eyes.
"Hey foster," He said when they walked up to us.
"Hey keefe, you clean up nicely"
"You too, shall we?" He took my arm and we made our way inside.
The theme was winter wonderland and it was gorgeous. There was fake snow and glittery snowflakes everywhere. I headed over to see if there was any good food, pulling keefe along with me. I was reaching out to grab a brownie, when keefe grabbed my hand and pulled me to the dance floor.

Keefe's POV
When we arrived my jaw dropped when I saw sophie. How could anyone look that beautiful? Sophie had taken us over to the food table, but then a slow song came on and I decided that we needed to dance.
"C'mon Foster, let's dance," I grabbed her hand and pulled her to the dance floor
"keefe, I'm awful at dancing," she protested, but came with me anyway
I wrapped my arms around her waist and she put hers around my neck. We swayed to the music and I stared into her eyes and it was like there was no one else in the world.
"Keefe, I have something to tell you,"
"what is it?" I was kind of nervous, what was she going to say?
"I, I really like you and I completely understand if you don't feel the same way about me or don't want a relationship right now, but I just needed to tell you that," the words came tumbling out of her mouth and I stood there, completely starstruck.
Was it really possible that she liked me and wanted to date me? I glanced down at her, and everything seemed clear. I leaned down and pressed my lips to hers in a soft kiss, and why had I not done this sooner? It felt like everything had fallen into place and I had been waiting for this my whole life. It was a short but sweet kiss, and when we pulled away, we both just stood there smiling at each other like idiots.
