Chapter 2: Differences

Same day(evening)
Ariana's room-

"Ariana, baby are you awake. It's time we have to go" says Amelia and gets in her room, but she wasn't there, she checked the bathroom too. There was no sign of Ariana, her bed was as it was earlier, no one ever slept there. It was like Ariana never came back home.

"Alexander" shouts Amelia

"What is it mama? Why are you calling my name so loudly?"

"Where is your sister? Where the hell is Ariana Dawson?"

"You told me she came back home, but she ain't here. Then how would I know where is she? But to assure you let me call her once"

"Please do"

"She ain't picking it"

"The hell, she lied to me again. She broke her promise again. I swear she will be the death of me someday"

"What now then? Shall we keep waiting for her to come back, or proceed to go to pick up dad?"

"Let's go, she has made her decision, she won't come back. Let's go ahead without her. Did you make a call to your uncle about it?"

"Yes I did. They're already on their way to the station"

"Let us also go then"

"Hmm"

At the station-
"Axel, my love how are you? I missed you so much" says Amelia

"I missed you too love. How have you been? Where are our kids, did they miss me?" asks Axel

"Yes they did miss you a lot. Everyone's out, our whole family is here"

"Let's go then"

"My son, Axel. You are finally out, I have missed you a lot" says Rosie(Axel's mother)

"I have missed you too mum. Where's Pa?"

"Oh what should I say about him, he is just not yet ready to see you, I tried to convince him but he didn't listen, I guess you will see him at home after all"

"Hmm"

One by one all the family members greeted Axel.

"Amelia where is my daughter? You said she's here, where is she then?"

"Uhm..I am sorry Axel, I lied she never came here because a friend of her urgently needed her help, so she had to go. But you will see her at the dinner"

"I hope so"

At home(Dawson Mansion)

Ariana's room-
"Oh so you are back twinny?" says Alexander

"I am indeed"

"Shall we go down then, everyone's waiting for you so that we can start the dinner"

"Hmm. Let's go"

"Daddy's down too. And mamma's angry with you because you didn't show up when we went to pick daddy up"

"I know, I will apologise to them. Let's go now"

At the dinner table
They all sat according to their seats, when Ariana came with Alexander.

"Ariana, my dear you are finally here. I didn't see you at the station when we went to pick your father. Where were you dear?" says Rosie

"I got some emergency abuela(grandmother). That is why I couldn't make it"

"No worries, go greet your father now"
