The five of us conversed, as if we were all in college together again. It was fun being a normal, law abiding citizen for once. Not everyday it's fun to kill people.

At one moment, a man dressed in full black walked into the cafe. A black mask, black jacket, pants, hood covering his face even more.

I kept an eye on him occasionally, I just glanced back and forth every once in a while. And to be fair he didn't seem extraordinarily suspicious, he was just on his phone, then ordered a drink - which he did not take a single sip of.

I decided that I was just judging people from first glance too harshly, so, I focused mainly back on my friends.

"Hey. Yuri, I have a suggestion." Jiyeon grabbed her phone out hurriedly, showing me a dating app, "How about, I'll set you up on a blind date..? Hm?"

I blinked at her blankly, seriously dumbfounded.

"Jiyeon, I really don't need a-" I insisted, but she swiped right on a bunch of guys, till she got a match.

"Perfect! Look at him, 26, six foot, occupation of an engineer, likes to play guitar. This man is your holy grail, let me message him right away!" She quickly typed away with a huge smile on her face.

Niki wouldn't mind? Right? I mean, he was away anyways.

I groaned, unable to stop Jiyeon from setting me up with stranger guys. I concluded that I only had to see them once, it's not like I was going to really date them and spend the rest of my life with them.

"Alright guys, I'm just gonna go to the bathroom." I excused myself, heading to the bathrooms. It was rather empty, and I just stood there, washing my hands for a good few minutes.

Suddenly, the black, masked figure came into the female restroom too, dragging me into a stall and pulling out a gun.

I pulled the hood down, it was some guy, I had no idea who it was.

"Where are the whereabouts of Niki Nishimura, Yuri?" He spoke in such a petrifying way, but despite his tone, I was not about to rat my own husband out.

I sprung into violence immediately, kicking him in the stomach, to which he let out a pained growl, he attempted to fight back but I suppose he just wasn't trained hard enough.

I slammed him out of the stall, right onto the sinks where I grabbed his own gun, throwing him to the floor, stamping on his chest and pointing his own gun at him. How embarrassing.

I crouched down to rip his mask off, trying to figure out who the fuck this was.

I had no idea who it was, up until he groaned, his shirt lifting slightly upwards and revealing a tattoo.

'PARK'

I groaned, irritated. My own father was already sending people out to come for me and Niki? Pfft, he could keep trying.

"If we weren't in a public space, this would've ended up very different." I clocked the gun against his neck, he flinched at the noise of the gun being loaded, "You better find the courage to leave." I whispered coldly, standing up, placing the second gun in my other pocket, heading out casually.

I sat back with the girls, looking at wedding venues and whatnot.

"When do you think is the ideal age to have a child?" Heejin inquired, damn, she isn't even married yet and she's thinking about this.

"Woah, you aren't even married yet." I chuckled as she rolled her eyes.

"People get pregnant before they're married, you know." Heejin jokingly retort, "but obviously you wouldn't know because you're so alone."

Wow, what was this? An 'insult Yuri's love life' hangout?

"You guys just gotta wait, come on, trust me." I gave a light laugh, I was fighting the greatest urge to tell them about Niki and whatever, although the marriage was solely contract-based, it'd still be cool to tell them.

Speaking of which, as days passed, I had realised that Niki was not as bad as I thought. Sure, he had his cold ass days where he'd lock himself in his office, or come back from a mission with steam coming from his ears, but he'd never take it out on me.

And he was so gentle, he treated me like his actual partner, which forced my heart to give in to him. Though, on nights, that warm feeling churned itself out into a bitter one, knowing his opinion of me was only to get the contract finished. There was probably no love for me in his heart at all.

"We won't even be alive when you get married." Aeyoung chimed in, the four of them all laughing collectively at their reused jokes.

I still had Niki printed in my mind.
