"So he didn't have any idea that something like this would happen" Ash smiled a little before turning towards the guards.
"Ah not to say that I ain't honoured to be greeted by a greeting community" Ash japed "But you could have informed me of this. I would have picked a better suit for this ceremony"
Clint bit his lips to stop a chuckle from escaping his mouth while the guards remained still.
While Ash couldn't see their faces from behind their masks, hw could feel their emotions. It ranged from amused, to annoyed to wary. Only the leader is impassed by this.
"We are ordered to take you to meet the Director" The lead man said, his voice cool and impassive.
"You could have just told me that.........." Ash blinked stupidily "It's not like I would have refused".
Did they really thought he would refuse the meeting with Director? Hell no! It would be first time hhe would be meeting him. A perfect opportunity what type of man he is. Or what Coulson said about this organization is genuine or not.
"You would have come with us without a struggle?" The Captain asked, blinking behind his mask. Did Director Fury got all the security tight without any reason.
".......Yes" Ash answered.
"............Okay" The Captain nodded "Follow me"
And without any further words, Ash did. Turning towards Clint he waved off "I will see you later Clint"
"Good luck with the Director" Clint waved back knowing how much pain Fury could be.
