(I haven't updated this book in a while so this is a long chapter mostly because they wouldn't stop talking. They had a yapathon)

There she was. Layla. Right at the door she strutted in her high heels clacking on the floor

You have to admit she was breathtaking. You know all that stuff in those movies that a girl lights up the room it feels like she managed to do that without you even knowing her.

Her long indigo hair with purple highlights and brown eyes, face and figure of a model with cloths of a wealthy woman.

"Layla" karma muttered the name of the woman he loves.

Hearing her name come out of his mouth reminded you of the kiss when he called you the wrong name

'Is she his girlfriend?' You thought glancing between them.

The doll face quickly jumped in attacking him with a punch

"What're you whining about? Pulling a disappearing act like that. Do you realize how worried we were about you?" She lectured

Karma clicked his tongue and Layla was now pinching his cheeks karma started wincing and going "owowowowow"

"How dare you click your tongue at me"
"Let go of me" he yelped pushing her off

It was amazing how she could keep him rounded and tamed

"You lost weight again didn't you?" She interrogated him catching you off guard too

"No I didn't" karma said quickly

"You look like a zombie" she said with closer inspection that karma rebutted with "it's just the lighting"

"I bet you're eating junk, aren't you?" Layla said looking through her bag

"Better than your cooking" karma snapped back
(Sassy men apocalypse) earning a smack on the head "I'm still sick!" He yelped

"Which is why I'm telling you to come back home"

Watching this scene felt like an invasion as you stood against the wall with your mouth open

She sat down on the seat next to his bed and began speaking "we'll have a proper talk together about your future and—-" "no way"

"What? You know, I don't think you have the right to talk like that" she calmly said

He turned towards her "whose fault do you think it was that I left?"

"Hmm let me think." She joked "hey" "just playing!" She quickly said to avoid conflict

Meanwhile your eyes were still wandering back between the two

"Well if you're going to wreck your health because you're living alone, then I'm dragging you back home"
