Keiko and Ren were discussing whatever it was while you were staring off into space thinking about a certain redhead
"You haven't eaten anything" Ren said attempting to grab a dumpling from you until the blonde slapped his hand away "I thought you were making your own lunch. Are you already sick of it?" She asked like a mother talking to her Ill child
You bounced back to reality "I overslept today, I'm sorry, what were you talking about?" You asked trying to focus more
Keiko pointed to a little drawing on the book placed on her desk that was facing you "this. It says Christmas is the best time in your life for having a romance. There is an excellent chance that whoever you spend Christmas Eve with will be your partner for life" she explained like it was an advertisement
You went "ohhh" picking up the book to see the other signs "I'm very happy for you kei" you smiled looking for your sign
"It's not me. It's your sign" "oh yeah" you said eyes landing to what she pointed to earlier
"Haven't you made any progress with Akabane? Christmas Eve is in 2 weeks" (I'm Mexican so Christmas is on Christmas Eve but this was in the actual script)
How did she know about that? You'd been keeping your little crush on him a secret. Never mind that you shut the book placing it in front of you "these horoscopes are never right"
"Don't tell me again this year, 'I'm going to have a family party at Jiro's house!'" Keiko deadpanned
"A family party? You mean your families get together?" Ren asked "yes exactly" Keiko groaned
"Without fail, ever since she was seven years old. Their families gather around a Christmas cake, wear Santa hats, sing 'jingle bells', and exchange presents" "Unbelievable" "Isn't it?"
The three of you mentally pictured it for a second "since your parents aren't here this year, you can get away from Jiro! Then you can make Akabane yours!" She said smacking the table to grab your attention
"I already said I wasn't interested in him" you said readjusting yourself in your seat "speak of the devil" ren said making everyone's head turn to the door
"Aka-" you cut yourself off to find Jiro standing at the door "Suki" the older male said
"Jiro" your eyes relaxed as you got up to speak to him (Guys this is a side note if you've seen good morning call I actually hate Uehara and wish she ended up with Daichi or Issei instead until season 2 when he got sm better)
