Surprise

Lan zhan was busy in a conference the whole day and all he wanted was to wrap his arms around Wei wuxian, to taste those red, sinfully delicious lips and maybe fuck him to oblivion. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do first as he kept walking in the direction of jingshi. He was about to open the door when he stopped in his tracks as he heard Wei wuxian's voice coming from inside.

Wei wuxian spoke in a pleading voice,"Please just say you'll do it"

Lan zhan was even more surprised when he heard another voice belonging to Jiang cheng,"Fine, I'll do it" his voice sounded exasperated as if he had been having this conversation since forever.

What Lan zhan heard next made his blood boil, it was Wei wuxian, whimpering. He couldn't control himself from trying to get inside the room without any further delay but much to his surprise, the door was locked probably with a locking talisman.

Lan zhan couldn't stop himself from feeling something unknown in his heart but if Wei wuxian put such a talisman, only he can undo it,"Wei ying, open the door"

Wei wuxian panicked as the next thing he said made Lan zhan feel more uncertain,"Umm, I can't"

Lan zhan,"Why?"

Wei wuxian said in a confident tone,"Because Jiang Cheng is naked"

Inside the room:

Jiang Cheng looked at Wei wuxian totally horrified,"What? Why did you say that?"

Wei wuxian,"I can't say I'm naked. Lan zhan is allowed to see me naked" he argued back like it Jiang cheng was the one talking nonsense.

Jiang Cheng,"Why do any of us have to be naked?"

Wei wuxian put a finger on his chin, thinking for a moment,"Well good point. Anyway, do you understand what I told you?"

Jiang cheng took a deep breath before replying,"Yes"

Wei wuxian clapped his hands together,"This is going to be perfect"

Both of them headed towards the door where on the other side, Lan zhan was getting impatient to be let inside. Fortunately the door opened revealing his wife. Before he could ask anything, Jiang cheng came from behind Wei wuxian and fled the scene without even greeting Lan zhan.

Lan zhan snaked his arms around Wei wuxian's waist and pulled him inside jingshi with himself. He shut the door behind them and pinned Wei wuxian on it. Wei wuxian gulped hard as he looked Lan zhan fuming with anger.

Wei wuxian,"I...... I........ Can explain"

Lan zhan went straight to the point,"Why was Jiang cheng naked with you?"

Wei wuxian would have facepalmed himself at that moment had his wrist not been restrained by Lan zhan,"Well he was not naked, I mean he was naked but not like that"

Lan zhan knew he was lying and glared at him. Wei wuxian glanced at Lan zhan and knew he fucked up,"Ewww Lan zhan, no. It's nothing you're thinking. He's my brother for god's sake" he felt Lan zhan sigh in relief but still didn't let him go,"Okay so your brother is just as merciless as you when it comes to being shameless. Jiang cheng was here to ask for some talisman before he leaves for Yunmeng so the disciples won't mock or question him for the huge lovebites your brother placed all over his body"

Lan zhan knew he was saying the truth but there was something Wei wuxian was not telling him. He leaned into Wei wuxian slamming their lips together as Lan zhan grabbed him by the hips and lead both of them to the bed to have his way with him.

Although Lan zhan knew Wei wuxian won't do anything to hurt him but he couldn't let go of the conversation he heard. As a result, he ravished Wei wuxian harder than ever without an ounce of mercy. Wei wuxian was unable to close his legs from the ruthlessness of his husband which only made him get fucked for a few more rounds.

A few days later:

Lan zhan had been noticing Wei wuxian's strange behavior ever since the Jiang cheng incident. He had been sneaking away from jingshi when Lan zhan was teaching the juniors. He didn't pay attention to it for a couple of times but now he can't take it anymore that he couldn't find his wife since morning. Wei wuxian needs some serious explaining to do once Lan zhan gets his hands on him.

It was about sundown and Wei wuxian was still nowhere to be found. Lan zhan was done waiting as he walked out of jingshi to search for him. He searched everywhere only to found juniors gone and even Lan xichen wasn't in his quarter nor anywhere else in cloud recesses. Everything was getting suspicious as he decided to go to rabbit field to see if Wei wuxian was there.

The way was pitch black as the sun was fully set by the time Lan zhan stepped towards his destination. He unsheathed bichen, the bluish glow lighting up the path ahead of him. Suddenly someone snapped their fingers and everything brightened up.

Rows and rows of lanterns hanging from the tree branches lit up, hundreds of candles were placed on the stones. The white little bunnies hopped around Lan zhan's feet, he was about to pick one up when he heard footsteps coming towards him. He still had bichen in his hands as he turned towards the noise, ready to face any kind of threat.

"Happy birthday" the juniors, Lan xichen, Jiang cheng, Nie huaisang and Wei wuxian emerged from behind the trees and greeted him.

Lan zhan's ears turned pink as he put his sword back to it's sheath,"Thank you" he said softly.

Everyone offered Lan zhan their gifts and blessings as they left one by one. Wei wuxian was the only one left with Lan zhan. Wei wuxian held a basket in front of him,"Let's eat before I give you the present I got you"

Lan zhan nodded as Wei wuxian laid a blanket on the grass and began setting up their dinner. Lan zhan looked curiously at the food and took in the delicious smell coming from it.

Lan zhan,"Did you cook all this?"

Wei wuxian gave him a cheeky smile,"Uhh....no. I asked Jiang cheng to lend me one of lotus pier's best cook for the night"

Lan zhan now realized what Wei wuxian was asking from Jiang cheng that day. He mentally scolded himself for doubting Wei wuxian as he sat down besides him. Both of them finished their meal and Lan zhan couldn't stop himself from looking at the angel in his life. Wei wuxian caught Lan zhan staring at him.

Wei wuxian,"You're too eager for your gift, aren't you?"

Lan zhan,"Mn"

Wei wuxian stood up, Lan zhan also followed his action. Wei wuxian stretched his arms wide and Lan zhan kept looking at him in aww. Wei wuxian stood their like that then his perfect eyebrows furrowed,"Umm Lan zhan, I'm your present"

Lan zhan seem to come back to his senses as he noticed a bright red ribbon tied around Wei wuxian's waist. He smiled and pulled Wei wuxian into a warm embrace. He then placed a soft kiss on Wei wuxian's forehead,"I love this gift"

Wei wuxian put his hands on Lan zhan's chest and backed away a little bit,"Hey, aren't you going to unwrap your gift" and winked at Lan zhan.

That was it, the last straw to Lan zhan's patience as he threw Wei wuxian over his shoulder and headed towards jingshi. Lan zhan put Wei wuxian on the bed before ripping his clothes into rags. Needless to say Lan zhan thoroughly enjoyed his birthday gift on different surfaces, positions and all night long.
