There are always some unanswered questions in everyone's life and it takes their whole lifetime to find those answers and some don't even get them before they die, the investiture ceremony was one such event for Chavi.

She straightened her posture when she got called onto the stage she walked there and received the badge and the principal honored her with the sash as the event continued.

"Now, the head boy, Raman Jaiswal will give his investiture day speech, following him will be the head girl, Shakshi Bharadwaj", the speaker spoke into the mic followed by a massive round of applause around the auditorium.

Both the figures walked up behind the mic before the head body handed his flag to the volunteer by the stage and took over the mic.

Chavi stood straight in her position as she drilled holes at the back of the House Captain's head, it was the infamous 'dream boy', Garvit Mehra.

She was thankful for the House Council nomination forms she had submitted beforehand, despite it not being the 'Captian' position she had mentioned in the form, she was content with being the 'Sports Incharge' as her hands itched to remove the sash across her body, the rough edges felt scratchy against her neck.

She eyed Jay Rana holding the flag of the Curriculum Captain for the Student Council and he stood straight with his head held high when she noticed his head turned towards a girl sitting a little towards the back, his girlfriend she realized.

He passed a shy smile to her but moved his eyes before it became too obvious and looked at his family who sat in some rows before.

He had especially gotten one extra invitation for her to visit his investiture ceremony.

Chavi looked at her own family, his mother and father were proudly recording everything while her father held her eight-year-old brother and pointed towards her, they all had a proud smile on their faces.

The speech going on in the background broke her reverie when she glanced at the head boy giving his speech.

It was a mystery how Raman Jaiswal had gotten the head-body position and not many others waiting in the line, that boy meant trouble, and how he kept his addictions and male ego gang fights outside the school under the rugs and away from his parents was another conspiracy theory.

She shook her head and a happy smile lightened her face when she saw Shakshi's bubbling energy, there was a shine to her twinkling eyes as she spoke into the mic, the polite and timid girl was over-shined by her zealous aura.
