GODS
THE FIRST ONES

Amai (ah-MY)- goddess of nature and soul of the planet called Zakara. Mother of the Sihirians and the Sihiri goddesses.

Zuva (z-OO-vah)- god of the suns and parent to the sun people of the southern continent.

Nyeredzi (n-eye-RED-zee)- spirit of the moons and creator of the night people of the northern continent.

THE SIHIRI PANTHEON

Amai (ah-MY)- mother of all nature and the soul of Zakara

Rziwi (ruh-ZEE-wee)- child of Amai, god of the water and the creatures beneath the surface.

Huswa (HUH-s-wah)- child of Amai, god of the living land.

Giizhig (g-EE-zh-ig)- child of Amai, god of the wind and sky

Hesi (h-EH-see)- child of Amai, god of the afterlife and everything beneath the land of Zakara

Bawaajigan (buh-wah-JEE-gan)- lesser god of dreams

Gichi-binesi (git-chEE  bin-AY-see)- lesser god of birds, creation of Giizhig

Awesiinh (ah-WAY-see)- lesser god of wild animals, creation of Huswa

THE TUHAN PANTHEON

Zuva (z-OO-vah)- spirit of the suns and king god

Duvä (doo-v-AIR)- child of Zuva, goddess of peace and war, opposites

Almawt (all-maw-t)- child of Zuva, god of death and afterlife, rules over the underworld

Hujan (hOO-han)- child of Zuva, goddess of storms and rain, prayed to if people want a clean slate

Laut (la-ow-t)- child of Zuva, goddess of the sea and all beings in it

Bulan (BOO-lan)- child of Zuva, Tuhan god of the moon and stars

Kemarahan (kem-ar-ah-haa-n)- child of Duvä, god of revenge

Kebija (keh-bEE-haa)- child of Duvä, goddess of wisdom and strength

Akhirat (aak-EEr-at)- child of Almawt, goddess of death, makes sure people go where they're meant to

PLACES

Zakara (zuh-CAR-ah)- the planet this story takes place on, similar to Earth

Tuhan (tOO-haan)- Another title for the Southern Continent, based on the ancient peoples that lived across the whole continent who are believed to be the first children of the Tuhan Gods. Also a language

Fajar (fuh-HAR)- A large kingdom on the continent of Tuhan

Matahari (mah-TAA-har-ee)- the capital city of Fajar where the queen has her palace

Madinat (mad-in-AT)- a port city on the outskirts of Fajar. Smaller than Matahari

Alara (uh-LAR-uh)- A small city in the Boté kingdom. It lies on an oasis in the middle of the Boté desert

Rallaei Empire (rah-LAY-ee)- the empire of the Eastern Continent. It is at war with the Fajar Kingdom for control over all of Tuhan

Boté (b-OH-tay)- a kingdom south of Fajar made up mostly of desert

CREATURES

Makutu (mah-KOO-too)- Sihirians with shapeshifting abilities granted to them by Amai

Fa'ii (FAH-ee)- Sihirians. Similar to Fae, beings with the ability to wield elemental magic

Mayya (MY-yah)- Sihirians with the ability to communicate with spirits, and understand the Almaara

Almaara (all-MAH-ruh)- small woodland creatures of the Sihiri Forest

Fawa (FAA-waa)- A palm-sized colorful creature with wings, usually resembling a plant. Their life force is connected to a living plant– like a tree or flower. Found only in the Sihiri Forest. Sprite is the Tuhan name, but what they're commonly called

Manido (man-ih-DOO)- A spirit without a body. Usually what is left behind when someone dies; their spirit will live on in the plants and the trees, or in Hesi's realm. Manido can sometimes have unfinished business that causes them to turn bad

Maazhi (MAH-zhee)- the bad spirits

Ruhi (rOO-hee)- small wispy creatures that live in the underworld with Hesi and help process souls.

Kaafi (kAH-fee)- a creature similar to a fish with colorful scales and silky fins. Created by Rziwi, this type of creature is most commonly found in Sihiri

Waboze (wah-BOO-s)- a rabbit-like creature with long fur, large ears, and colorful fur. Found only in the Sihiri Forest, commonly in vast fields. Created by Huswa. Also called Zomo which means "hopping friend" in Sihiri

Binesi (bin-AY-see)- large birds. They come in various shapes and colors, with different names for different species. Created by Giizhig

Banajaanh (buh-nuh-jah)- small chirping birds. They come in various shapes and colors, with different names for different species. Created by Giizhig

Odayan (oh-dEYE-yan)- an orange/reddish color, resembles a horse, has feathery wings and those big fluffy horse feet, found across Sihiri and Tuhan.
Tuhan name: Hisan (hih-san)

Eshkanayan (esh-kuh-nEYE-an)- A magical elk-like creature with large antlers. They come in many colors, and have thick fur. They occupy plains all across Zakara, but prefer the privacy of Sihiri.
Tuhan name: Walqarn (wall-karn)

Bazhiin (buh-zhEE)- similar to a cat, with thick dark fur and sharp teeth. Intelligent, deadly, agile. Tuhan name: Wolo

OTHER

Runes- powerful symbols that, when combined with other symbols, create a magical spell to complete a certain task or ritual

Enchantments-  spells that combine steampunk-esque technology with Rune Magic to create smaller things like alarm clocks, lightbulbs, and sending letters quickly

Dark Magic- Magic that uses dark spirits, souls, and sacrifices to complete powerful spells, with consequence to the user

The First Ones- the first higher beings to exist who created this world

Queendom- a monarchy with a queen instead of a king. Similar wordsge for a plot of land owned and run by a duke, duchess, etc.
