Evelyns point of view

I never once found my second mate I've been looking for him since I was 20 I'm now 24 I found my first mate when I was 18 but got rejected and my dad thinks I should just move past it and mate a willing wolf , I was still a virgin all I've ever done was kiss someone I was saving myself for my mate and I would hope he saved himself for me I sighed when I heard a knock in my office door "enter" I looked up

It was my beta , Jackson he handed me a piece of mail " beta Jackson what is this" he took a second before he responded "Alpha Evelyn, the night wind back is hosting another gala , they do it every year they are hoping you would attend because you haven't found your mate yet"

I growled at my beta and stood up "how dare you inform them I have not found my mate that is none of your business to be telling but since word is out I shall attend and I will be bring any unmated wolves with me as well"

He nodded and went ahead and called them to let them know that the midnight moon pack would be attending I opened it up and seen it was tomorrow I walked over to my intercom and pressed the button

"attention Dark Moon, we will be going to a gala tomorrow evening at the night wind pack ,all unmated wolves and she wolves dress nice you may find your mate" I received a varies of yes alphas thru my packs link I exited my office and went up to my room only to be stopped by my brother "yes brother"

he had waited a few minutes before speaking "do you honestly think that's a good idea for us to go , we are the strongest pack we have over 6 thousand pack members , and you are the most feared alpha because of the first war" i tensed up when he mentioned the first war we lost our youngest brother in that war he was only a pup

"Kane I have no mate , I'm desperate okay ? I just want to find him I've been looking for him for 4 years , as of being the most feared alpha I won't change nothing I will run my pack the way I see fit , we lost our younger brother ! I watched as he hung his head low in submission and walked away I continued up to my quarters and went into my closest and looked for a dress to wear that would complement my skin complexion I really did hope I found my mate I just wanna be loved I just wanna be held my first mate rejected me because of who I was and judged me before he got to know me well in his case I did kill his father I mentally sighed
