Part 26 ~ Bewilderment

Vandita's pov

" Don't worry , We'll see them " Devar sa stated and I found myself looking at him with pride and Confidence

( His words filled me with a sense of hope and determination . I trusted that we will do everything it takes to make justice . It was a reassuring moment that we saved them )

" Don't worry , Just relax for a while , get some sleep " Ranvijay stated and everybody fell asleep except Ranvijay and Abhimanyu

Ranvijay's pov

It's been almost 3 hours and we finally reached our kingdom , in the last 3 hours I kept on thinking the same thing , my mind was totally disturbed by what I just saw in palace of Jaisalmer , was that real or am I hallucinating ? , I don't know what the hell was that but my mind never seem to calm down after that , there was chaos all over my mind and heart , making me desperate to find the reason behind it

My heart was racing as I kept thinking about the sights and sounds of the kingdom , my mind remained troubled . The memory of the strange occurrences in Jaisalmer lingered, haunting me like a bad dream but I tried to shake off the feeling

I knew that something was off about that palace , that there was more to the palace than met the eye

As I sped up the Chariot , my mind kept on going back to the bustling streets of Jaisalmer , I couldn't help but wonder if what I had seen was real or just a figment of my imagination . I tried to push the thoughts aside, reminding myself that I had a duty to fulfill as a King

We finally reached and by that time almost everyone got up , the dawn was almost on the edge , Abhimanyu quickly stepped down , the soldiers came towards us and started helping us , we entered

" Thanks to all of you for showing such courage , we appreciate you all , Kingdom of Rajgarh is safe for you all and I'm more than Glad to welcome you all in our kingdom " Everyone started clapping with joy and happiness on their faces as I made this announcement , I was grateful for the bravery and determination shown by the new members of Rajgarh who had braved the dangers of that demonic kingdom and emerged victorious . My words filled them with a sense of pride and security, knowing that my kingdom was now safer brought a sense of peace on their faces . They felt a sense of warmth and hospitality as they were welcomed into the kingdom , grateful for the kindness shown to them by the people of Rajgarh

They all started chanting in unison , making our chest filled with pride and happiness , after a while , after meeting everyone , we showed them their boudoirs till they settle down here completely , some people decided to work in the place and some decided to earn money by living as locals

" Chaliye Bhai sa , Aap aur Bhabhisa thoda sa Araam kar leejiye " ( Bhai sa , let's take some rest , both of you too ) Abhimanyu stated as he took our blessings and left

Vandita's eyes met mine as we both stared at each other with light smile on our faces , her face was glowing , she was happy , I could tell just by a single look of her beautiful face , I tried my best to not show her the reason behind my confusing and bewildering thoughts
