I had the idea for this story when reading a specific panel in the first Hunter X Hunter manga which is quoted in the description. It is about the fact than anyone is able to pass the hunter exam because the examiners change every year but the way it was explained by saying that even the Devil would be allowed to do it stuck with me and left me wondering, what if he did?

This is only my second time publishing a fanfic and my first time doing a male reader. I have quite a short attention span so I have noticed I often write stories at quite a fast pace so I will try my best not to speed ahead too much. I will probably forget to update as well and I apologise for that. I have not finished Hunter X Hunter yet but I know the gist of the story and I will be using the manga for reference. I will be following a storyline which is a mix of both the manga and the anime.
