"Today's the day my friends. I hope you're all ready." Eunkwang adjusted his suit.
"We might, but I don't think Changsub is?" Hyungsik pointed out.
"Are you really starting a fight with me? It's pretty rude considering I'm your elder. You should show respect." Changsub retorted.
"I'm respecting you by letting you know to hurry up." Hyunsik said bluntly.
"Guys chill man, we're barely about to debut. Let's keep the vibes going." Illhoon chimed in.
"Yo Roy how are you feeling?" Peniel asked him, noticing he seemed distracted.
"I'm okay. Just a little nervous I mean this is our first time. I never imagined I would dance in front of the camera. Even after all the training I'm still not the best at it." Roy admitted. Even as a fresh newbie he still couldn't dance well. They had to redo many cuts for him to perfect it.
"You getting there my good man you just need to have faith in yourself. When you first trained at Cube you were downright slow and terrible, but now you've gained some muscles. You're not as sluggish as you think. You might surprise yourself." Minhyuk chimed in. He was the most athletic trainee in Cube and his muscles show.
"I appreciate the word of encouragement hyung." Roy smiles feeling better.
"Hyung, I heard your big sis is cheering you on. Is that correct?" Asked Sungjae.
"Damn right she is! She's still at JYP, but she's a great noona. She helped me audition here at Cube. In a way I owe to her." Illhoon said with a genuine smile at his older sister.
"It blows my mind how identical you look. You sure you're not twins?" Hyunsik asked.
"Nah, but it would nice! The four-year gap thing can be a bit too much. I ain't a little kid anymore, but she treats me like one at times." Illhoon shrugged with a blush.
"Roy hyung I heard you had a cousin that's an idol?" Sungjae asked Roy.
"You talking about Yoonhye sunbae from Rainbow? Yeah she is my older cousin. She already knows I'm a trainee, but I haven't got the chance to tell I debuted, not to mention my actual noona." Roy said offhandedly breaking into a mutter.
"Get on that man! Having family cheer you on comes such a long way!" Illhoon pat his back.
"We should probably get ready. Our idol journey is just about to start. Let's not keep them waiting." Eunkwang said as the boys left the dressing room into the set.
While Beast debuted with something light, BTOB went with a dark concept. It tells of a boyfriend who catches his girl committing adultery with another man. He states how crazy and hurt he feels clinging on to her. He then declares that he will start hating her and that he will let her go. It was dramatic yet effective. They were just rookies, yet they were given such an emotion heavy song. Roy used his vocals to evoke those painful feelings, something he used to feel when he stated music. Original it was to impress a girl, but that didn't pan out, but it gave him something to work with. Now he just sings for pleasure. The video features Apink leader Chorong as the love interest.
