"What was going through your mind that made you invite her" I yelled at Darshil

"She reminds me of Suhana and Mom will be thrilled to meet Maya" Ever since Suhana, Darshil masks away his pain with his everlasting goofy behavior and his cheery smile but people who have known him way before know that a part of him died that day that Suhana did. A part that can never be brought back.

"Okay but you should've told me first" I replied

"Okay, but Rayan I thought you would've been happier that I invited her like hello? "

"And why do you feel so?" I asked

"Because you like her," he said. What? NO, I don't like her.

"Uhm absolutely not are you out of your mind?" I yelled

"Oh please save it Don't you think it is too evident ever since you've met her it seems like you haven't been able to take your eyes off her, so yes you do have a crush on her," he said. Wait that is true but no it can't be I can't-

"You save your assumptions for another day" I rolled my eyes at him and walked past him

"Bye text me the deets for your little adventure with Maya" I yelled with my back facing him.

I am sick of owning a company with this man-child. I mean he's smart and all but sometimes he's just very annoying. I mean he's almost one of my closest friends but why do I feel like I'm babysitting whenever I'm around him or Aarav? Speaking of which I need to call him.

"Hi Rayan babe how you been" he sang

"I was good before you called me babe," I said annoyed

"What do you like it when your girlfriends call you that. Why can't I call you that hm? Do u hate me? Sike you can never hate me you love me" he went on and on

"Whatever shut up," I said

"Seriously Rayan what is up with you today, where is my dramatic Rayan I want him" he pouted

"God are you always this annoying or is it just today?" I said

"It's you who deprived of love, call me when you're ready to actually talk other than being a sloppy bitch" he spat. he's mad at me. no.

"Don't be mad at me, I wanted to ask if you would want to accompany me to get rid of Darshil's date today," I said trying to tempt him somewhat

"No, I will not accompany you. I'm upset with you" Here we go. Pouty Aarav is back.

"Oh don't give me that bullshit plus I know you want to. I'm sorry okay I don't know what's up with me just come with me please" I said

"Only under one condition though" he demanded

"What?"

"You will smile every time I say Rayan babe." Oh hell no.

"Ugh whatever sure," I agreed even though we both know I'm not taking this seriously.

"Okay send me the deets bye now Rayan Babe," he said in his squeaky voice.

"Bye," I said dryly

"I don't hear you all smiley. Okay, we're gonna try that again. Bye, Rayan bab-" I hung up before he finished his sentence.

God, why are my best friends so cheery, but I cannot deny it and I do, I love it and hide it all the fucking time even if act as if I hate it.
