Sharing her Pain

Arriving in Manali at night, Rohit and Ruhi checked into their hotel. Upon entering their room, a sense of awkwardness enveloped them—they found it adorned as if prepared for a honeymooning couple. Without exchanging glances, they silently placed their luggage down. Ruhi, seeking solace, made her way to the balcony to take in the view, while Rohit headed towards the washroom to freshen up.

Ro: yeh hotel walo ko bhi kya maza ata hai aise room saja kar......konsa honeymoon....yaha pati patni jaisa hai kab hamare beech....aur mujhe toh yeh samajh nahi araha ruhi man kaise gayi yaha ane keliye....dost kabhi honeymoon par jate hai bhala......time out chahey mujhe insab se.....fresh hokar kam par lag jata hu apne

Ruhi stood on the balcony, inhaling the fresh mountain air, relishing the touch of the cool breeze that seemed to caress her very soul, all the while delighting in the breathtaking view spread before her.

R: finally thora sa break mila sab cheezo se.....ab mujhe mauka mile ga rohit se puchne ka ke uske man mai chal kya raha hai.....kuch toh bat hai.....ghar par toh woh mujhe koi na koi bahana dekar tal deta tha

After spending some time there, she eventually went back inside and proceeded to freshen up. Upon returning, she found Rohit receiving their food delivery. They both had their dinner in silence. Ruhi, eager to initiate conversation, felt nervous and amidst her contemplation, they finished their meal.

Ro: ruhi tum bed par sojao mai sofe par so jaunga

Ru: hmm

Without uttering another word, Rohit retired to sofa. The next morning, when Ruhi woke up, she was taken aback by the sight that greeted her. Rohit had set up his office in the room; files were scattered across the table, his gaze fixated on the laptop screen, and his ear occupied with a phone call.

R: yaha bhi office khol liya apna....ab kya apna case yaha se lare ga.....phele toh har waqt timeout karta rehta tha.....ab apne kam se timeout kyu nahi le raha

Ruhi went to freshen up. When she came out Rohit was still engulfed in his work. Before she could ask him he said without looking at her

Ro: niche breakfast ka buffet Laga hai jakar breakfast karlo

R: aur tum

Ro: Mai already kar chuka hu

R(in mind): wah nashta bhi akele kar aya jakar.....hum Kya solo trip par aye hai yaha.....mana husband wife jaisa relation nahi hai magar dost toh hai hum

Ro(in mind): ise toh Khush hona chahey ke Mai Sath nahi jaraha phir itna Kya soch Rahi hai

Without saying anything further, she took her mobile and went downstairs to have her breakfast. After some time, she returned to the room, feeling bored. Eventually, she decided to break the silence with Rohit.

R: Rohit tumhara Kam kab tak khatam hoga

Without looking towards her he replied

Ro: bahut Sara Kam hai time lagega

R: Rohit Tum Apne Kam se Thora timeout le lo na please..... hum Kahi Bahar ghumne chalte hai na.....pura din Kya room Mai hi Bethe rahe ge

Ro: Mera mood nahi hai Kahi Jane ka.....tumhe Jana hai toh khud Chali jao.....mere pas time nahi hai

R: Rohit hum solo trip par nahi aye yaha.....Sath Mai chalte hai na

Ro: Ruhi Maine kaha na mujhe bahut Kam hai....waise bhi yaha ane keliye ha tumne Kiya tha maine nahi.....isley agar tumhe ghumne Jana hai Kahi toh khud Chali jao

He said all this without looking towards her, causing her deep hurt. Up until that moment, she had been speaking to him calmly, but now, feeling increasingly ignored, she replied in anger.
