Hearing all this, Ruhi sank onto the bed with a resounding thud, utterly disbelieving what she had done. She couldn't fathom that she had indulged in such recklessness: getting inebriated, driving the car, arguing with the police, leading to her own arrest and wrongly implicating her husband for a crime he hadn't committed.
